I started with just soil and dirt and tried Scott’s northeastern seeds that did not work so well but I got a refund from Scott’s . I used the funds and bought Kentucky seeds. I through some seeds on my dirt lawn on 09/28 . It seem to have 80-90% sprouted after a particularly rainy week 2 weeks afterwards. Now in October it starting to fill in . The first photo 10/21 shows the lawn with lots of bare spots ( there’s sprouts but just low). One week later and it has filled out much better. Current temp 40-65 F.
