Apple 2020 Mac Mini with Apple M1 Chip, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD Storage - Silver (Renewed)

The renewed Mac mini M1 has been working well. A little scratched up but that's all, I'd say it fits the description of Excellent well enough. So far it's been worth the purchase. Works out the box. I'm able to process what I want with it.

So far so good! It's in like-new condition, it's fast, and so far it's reliable. Thus far, I'm very happy. I wasn’t real happy with the packaging. It was sliding around in the box during shipping, with no padding at all, which made me angry. I've bought three “renewed” machines from Amazon over the years, and so far I've been lucky with all three of them. I'm a PC guy. Always have been! I've been computing on Windows since Windows 2.0. But, I teach computer science and cybersecurity in college at the undergrad level, and I always have several students who have Macs and struggle to install software or use software like I'm demonstrating on a PC In class. As sad as it sounds, I'm not experienced enough with Mac OS to help them in certain circumstances. I have to get help from a colleague, which is fine, but if I'm going to stand in front of a classroom and talk about something, I should know what the heck I'm talking about. On top of that, my wife is a Mac girl, and she has been hounding me for a long time to give it a shot. So I finally took the plunge. When I set the machine up it, it worked, and immediately updated to Mac OS Sequoia 15.4 and has been running very well since. Again, I'm a computer geek, I have it running on a dock with my ThinkPad E16. Again, so far so good. It's actually the ThinkPad that gets an attitude sometimes when I boot it while it's connected to the dock. The ThinkPad gives me three extended displays and the laptop display as well for a total of four. To get two extended displays on the Mac I do have to move one of the HDMI cables from the dock to the back of the Mac Mini, or I'll end up with mirrored displays. I purchased an active HDMI adapter that will be delivered today, which should resolve that problem. I have to admit, it took several days of setting up to get things the way I wanted but I'm very, happy with this machine and the OS.

Great so far,my first apple pc. Just wish it had more memory than 8gigs and more SSD space than 256gigs

I got a KILLER deal on this computer for current market prices. The M1 is still a powerful beast in today's computer world. I'm a techie / PA student deep into research... I keep 30 Chrome tab groups open, Canva, YouTube Music, Notability, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Complete Anatomy (3D rendered anatomy app), and God only knows what else open at a single time and the 8 gigs of RAM handles it flawlessly. I've never had this much snappy response out of a Windows machine. When I got this desktop in, it was practically brand new looking, looks super clean, and fired up on a dime. It's a perfect setup! I couldn't be more happy, and I'm posting this nearly a year later, so this machine is still conquering!

stetically as spected the back ports looks like new and m1 soc is very powerful even in ligth 4k editing I have a macbook m2 pro 12c 19g and i used more the m1 mac mini for the simple tasks and dont see any lack or some powerless i upgraded from one mac mini 2018 i7 and i can see a big jump in terms of power and m1 keep cool and silent more than spected im very happy whit this purchase if i'll need some other mac i will buy another renewed again thanks very much

I'm loving this computer, its fast and has the latest operating system on it. It works great and it's easy to set up and use. Like all Apple products is secure and you don't have to worry about viruses. Even though its a few years older than the new one it still is fast and works great and I am glad I bought it.

Best decision I ever made this M1 is still a power house for being 5 years old. Came like new was surprised at how little it was scratched up. It does have some small scratches on the bottom of the Mac but not noticeable when it’s sitting on my desk. In the picture it looks like new and runs like new. overall I’m very happy customer, will probably be buying more from Amazon renewed tech.

Seriously I am a windows guy but wow I'm impressed. Honestly, setting it up took less than 20 minutes, navigating was something I had to get used to it but so far it's been amazing. I might be turning into a Mac guy now. Very impressed. It is extremely fast, there is a ton of customization and works right out of the box.

Personalmente la adquiri por el chip M1 que sigue siendo un avión a dia de hoy, es mi primer Mac después de haber tenido un air del Intel y es gigante la diferencia. La compré para Análisis de datos y desarrollo de software y va fenomenal, las 8 de ram no se sienten. Me llego bien protegida, en 5 días a CDMX y tiene "Un rayon" como pelo de gato en la parte frontal, pero ni siquiera se siente el relieve, si no le da luz directa no se ve. De ahi en fuera, pareciera nueva, no se calienta, el Bluetooth funciona bien. Lo único que no me gusto pero creo eso es de Apple en general es que mi Micrófono y stand de headset no los reconoció, probablemente es por el sistema operativo y no tanto de que sea el Mac Mini.
