This works well and stands on its own. We started making crab legs on the side burner of the grill to keep the smell out of the house. In the cold weather, we open this around the pot outside of the burner. This shield keeps wind off the flames and off of the pot that you are trying to bring to temperature. Heat travels up between the shield and the pot. It has reduced the time to bring water to boil in the cold and thus food to the table by an appreciable margin.

Quedo muy pequeño para un sartén mediano, de cualquier forma tuve que forrar con aluminio la pared porque alcanzaba a salpicar. Las uniones no son bisagras son solo ranuras donde embonan pestañas del mismo material y constantemente se salen. Lo único destacable es que se limpió rápido, pero realmente no me sirvió para lo que lo compré.
