**Q: Where does it plug In?**
A: It comes with an adapter that plugs into the back. This is the best location as it allows you to hide the wire, which is very important to me

**Q: does this come with the adapter to use in normal house current?**
A: Yes its all included. Though you might miss it when you unpack the house. The house comes packed in a box containing a styrofoam  protecting case.The adaptor has been packed in a compartment in the bottom of the styrofoam container . I have purchased other houses like this one and it took me a while to discover it.

**Q: How do you turn off the sounds and leave the lights on?**
A: just turn the volume switch down so no sounds come out but it leaves lights on

**Q: We are about to buy this house for our kids. What is your return policy if something is missing or broken?**
A: Not sure, but I don't recommend these units.  I haven't had one last for more than 3 seasons. Considering the price they charge, you'd think they would hang around at least 5 seasons.
