Brumby Women's Sheepskin Shearling Boots

These boots are comfortable and seem well made, but the reason I didn't rate them higher is that they do not fit as snug as they should. I like to wear the sheepskin boots barefooted. Socks spoil the effect and they tend to slide down anyway, but if you use thick socks, these boots may work just fine for you. The length is correct for my size, so I was afraid going down a size would make them too short. The problem is that the wool compresses down and the box of the shoe is just too large when that happens. I have always bought the Kirkland shearling boots, which I love. Unfortunately, they changed the style of those. These looked comparable to the style that I liked, and they are in all except the fit. The Kirklands are initially quite snug, but once the wool compresses, they fit perfectly. Not so with these Brumbys. Too bad, because in all other ways, I like them very much.

These are gorgeous boots, and for the money, they are amazing! The workmanship is great, and I can't believe they are this cheap! HOWEVER...they run SUPER BIG! I totally would have returned them, but my puppy ate the box before I came home, and thankfully, I arrived JUST IN TIME to save the boots from his dratted jaws!Buy one size smaller - I bought the 8, I usually wear an 8, and my feet are swimming in the 8's. If I was going to buy again, I would buy a 7. When I had Ugg's, I noticed they stretched out, alot, so I assume these will too.

I'm so disappointed. It just got cold enough for me to start wearing these regularly. After wearing them for short trips (such as grocery shopping) my feet hurt SO bad. I've never had a pair of shoes do this to me! Suddenly a lump formed on the inside heel of the shoe and it absolutely kills me to walk in them. I've only worn them a handful of times but cannot return them now. Out $40. They seemed GREAT at first, but be warned... they are terrible to walk in!! :(

I was looking for boots similar to the Costco shearling boots I've had for years. These are a close match, but not as tall. They are lined all the way through the foot bed, which I like because I wear them without socks. I ordered the 10, which is what my old Costco ones were and the fit is the same. The sole is thick and rugged for snow and ice.

Wow, very impressed with these boots. They are high quality and made well. I prefer the profile of these over Uggs. Since they don't have a removable sole, I sized up to a 7 from my usual 6 in this style of boot, to accommodate the miracle soles I use in all my boots. I wear low profile smartwool footies and don't like the feel of sheepskin on the bottoms of my feet. It gets sweaty and dirty eventually and the sheepskin gets weird lumps after a while too. I bought the gray and the tan and am thinking about the brown now. At this price, I'm getting three pairs of great boots for less than the price of the name brands. They're also better than most of the cheap brands I've tried. Win win.

Very very warm, but absolutely no arch support or cushion on the sole. They'd be really comfortable it they were made to walk in, instead of just look at.

Wonderful quality shearling boots! I made a point of heavily pre-treating these with a good suede waterproofing product - I used heavy duty Scotch Guard - and they still look new, even after regular wear in deep snow and rain! They haven't lost their form at all and I've only ever used a soft suede brush to remove any mud or dirt. WAY better than my UGGs or other brands I've worn and for much, much less!

Love these! Have bought the gray and the chestnut. Exactly as pictured/expected. I wear a 7.5 and ordered an 8 and they fit great. I was a little nervous that they'd look cheap considering the good price, but they look as nice as any of the more expensive brands who make similar boots. And they are comfortable to "boot"!
