One good thing about this device is that it's real easy to use. It figures out the input itself, and produces stable output at 30 or 60fps. However, it has to modify the signal to do so. If your input is 30/60fps (perfect for screen capture, for example), then there is no problem. However, NTSC uses 29.97 or 59.94, and often is interlaced. The device attempts to deinterlace the image and adjust the frame rate, but the algorithms used are imperfect, and the final image appears "jumping". At which point, there is little you can do about it, because the source signal has already been modified. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Mostly happy, Some possible color issues *by J***Y on Reviewed in the United States on November 15, 2019* Using it for HDMI capture. I did update to current firmware as of this review date.Measured delay at about 111ms over 15 samples, just using a webcam app on Linux. Compare with 126ms for my AGPtEK device.Image quality is excellent. Even at 6x compared to an actual screenshot I see only very slight artifacting. All details are captured well.I need to do some more testing and this could be something in my display settings, but colors did not match. I've attached a comparison with inogeni on left and screenshot on the right. Dark gray background became black.
