Worked perfectly to save my ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 7 from exile
If you have a Gen 7 and need a CMOS battery, this is your guy. I replaced mine due to my computer being unable to hold onto the current date and time then loudly complaining about it, which per Google can be the CMOS battery. And it was! I waited a couple months to review in case I was wrong or this battery craps out but so far it’s perfect. Replacing was much harder for me than the online demos suggested because I could not unscrew multiple internal screws (even with my appropriately tiny screwdrivers!) and I was too impatient to order then wait for a tiny screw removal tool. There were at least 4 more tiny screws in my computer than on the pictures of what’s supposed to be inside my computer lol. I ended up risking damage by very slightly bending the plastic I couldn’t get off and squeezing this little guy in. This ultimately made it slightly harder to get the external cover back on but I managed. None of this is the fault of this battery, I blame Lenovo and myself. : ) If I were to do this again, I’d order a tiny screw removal tool and maybe better tiny screwdrivers.

Solves computer issue of RUN TIME CLOCK ERROR
This battery is a quick, simple fix to solve a computer that has a RUN TIME CLOCK ERROR. If your laptop isn't saving the correct date/time, or is having a startup issue when you connect power, replacing the CMOS battery is 1) Cheap 2) Quick and 3) Easy. Great battery at a great price from this seller. We used it on a Lenovo T431S and installed easily.

Perfect fit and brought my old laptop back to life
Aside from the nightmare location deep inside my X1 Carbon that the battery was located (no fault of Rome Tech obviously) this was an easy install. Connector worked perfect and battery worked perfect. No more errors when the laptop would go dead. Good as new again!

Good Fit
Slightly thicker than one I was replacing but fit fine. Might have been the adhesive backing. Packaged in a big box like about 6x6x6 when an envelope would suffice.

CMOS Saved
This is just what I was needing, saved me from soldering the power cord onto a battery, something I wasn't wanting to do. Great for a Lenovo laptop.

Worked in my X1 Yoga G3, but be careful.
While this worked fine replacing the dead CMOS battery in my X1 Yoga Gen 3, keep in mind that this isn't quite as device-specific as the item title makes it out to be. The plug fits fine, but the wire is about twice as long as the OEM part. Also, the OEM battery is about as flat as a CR2032 battery with two-sided tape. This battery is about twice as thick and uses puffy 3M double-sided tape. In the X1 Yoga G3, there was enough clearance for the bottom shell, and the wire wasn't too difficult to stuff behind the shielding, but if your application has tighter tolerances, this isn't a like-for-like part.
