Love this game and the concept! And the theme of an post-apocalyptic artic wasteland is extremely unique and interesting! It is a deck builder game, but in a way that you don't really realize it until you've reached the end of the game, so very entry level for the base game. Lots of variety with all of the different expansions or cards to switch in or out. The first 3 "warm up" rounds are a tad awkward feeling, but necessary. The box insert is very helpful for organization and definitely one of my favorite of any games. The cards could be a little more sturdy and have seen some wear and tear. Or they could also use some card sleeves to help

Great game! It has a lot of expansions and various ways to play, so you can choose each time how you want to play. The first game or two takes longer to play as you are figuring out how things work. After that, you can play a game in about 45 minutes, which is nice for a game that is more complex/requires more strategy. Sometimes more complex games take hours and hours to play and we don't have that long to give!

Absolutely love this game. Bought it about a month ago and have played 5 or 6 times with different people and everyone has enjoyed it. The game play takes a couple of rounds to get used to, but after that it is massive fun. Plenty of strategy is involved, with a little bit of luck when it comes to what cards you pick up out of your deck and what card you win in the contested resource pile. I have not even begun to play with the expansions yet, but have looked at them, and seen that they give you so many different ways to play, meaning replayability is very high. The artwork on the cards is very detailed and realistic, and the game is well explained in the instructions. Highly recommend for all game lovers!
