First of all, we received 2 jars that say "best before April 2023" on April 19, 2023. Then as I opened the jar it smelled like Rogan Josh, but it lacks the flavor. I can taste the spices but all together not flavorful. I knew it wouldn't be as good as the Rogan Josh from the Indian restaurant we love, but this was not good. The whole family was disappointed. Patak makes some good products like Butter Chicken sauce. I will not buy this particular item again as it's more expensive than other curry jars Patak sells but does not taste very good. But after all I'm Asian but not Indian.
