I ordered these to replace the earsocks on my aging pair of Straight Jackets. They are probably at least 5 years old and I take good care of them, keeping them in the car and wearing them only when I am out driving or shopping. Otherwise they are in the sunglass holder of my car where they wait until needed. However, due to age, sweat residue, being pushed under my ball cap, and heat from Southern summers, the earsocks had started splitting and peeling. I bought these to fix that so they would fit like they were new again. The product arrived and looked good. I easily pulled the old earsocks off my glasses and set about putting the replacements on. It is a tight fit, but that is by design and not a negative. Putting these on the glasses will require a bit of lube of some sort to get them squeezed onto your frames. I just happened to have a bottle of Windex sitting near my desk where I was working and decided to use that as my lubricant. I squirted a little bit down inside each earsock and slowly pushed/pulled each one on the frame. I found it best to keep the inside wet and just be patient and slowly work them into place. Don't rush or try to use too much force, just patient steady pressure and they will go on. I used Windex because it was sitting there and it dries quickly while leaving little residue behind. After all was said and done, I had my trusty Oakley's looking and fitting like they were brand new.

Work perfectly on my Oakley Gas Cans once I got them on. Best advice I can give you is use a little dab of silicone gel on the inside of the Earsock. Once you lube it up a little, the ear piece it will slide right in with a little pull.

I have had my Oakleys since at least 2010(?) and the grips on the ear pieces finally started cracking. Found these to replace them but I could not for the life of me get them on my Oakleys. No amount of tugging worked. Ended up returning them.

These will fit on the Oakley Gascan glasses as long as you use some kind of lubrication like dawn soap.

Bought to install on my Oakley Gascans. Oh you can heat them up and get them on (I used hot running water), but prepare for a massive struggle and perhaps a blister or two...lol! But I eventually got one side on so far, so it does work. You have to be persistent. The Gascan glasses will slide off your hat or beanie if you don't use something. $200 dollar glasses that are slippy as all get out. I wish Oakley would use something on the inside of the arm to prevent slippage. But alas, they don't. So your stuck trying to find alternative methods. This works, it's just not exactly ideal. It also makes the arm a bit thicker at the ear.

Hard to get on, but I guess that means they won’t get loose and slide around like my old ones did. Nice and snug.

Purchased these to replace the earsocks on a pair of Straight Jackets. I lubricated them and the glasses well with windex, and they slid on with minimal effort. Not much to say past that: A great OEM replacement that works perfect.

Once you get past paying $15 for 25¢ rubber pieces, then getting them on is like passing a kidney stone. Takes time and pain, but they will get on with persistence. I first put water soluble KY jelly on a q-tip and greased it inside the second time and it went a little easier. Good fix to keep high priced glasses in shape.

As others have mentioned, these are difficult to install, but it's worth it. My old (original) one were getting pretty worn out and started to tear a bit. They were easy to remove. But I had to use a bit of soap to install the new ones, and even then, it was a fight to get them on.

I hesitated getting these for some time because of the price tag. The covers on my Oakley glasses were really shot after a lot of wear and they desperately needed replacing. I finally decided to take a plunge and I can honestly say, no regrets! They were tricky to fit as they are very tightly stuck to the glasses but this is necessary to ensure they do not float around once they are on the glasses. I used a little soapy water to assist the side arm of my glasses to fit through the ear socks and once they were dried, they are a perfect replacement!
