does what it says with a high quality material

Good value for money and does the job properly. I bought 3 pieces as I require long connection for our dot matrix printer and I did not have any problems with it. It is sturdy and I assume that it won't break easily like other cheap usb extension cables.

Günstig, gut und für viele Zwecke die technisch klügere Wahl gegenüber USB 3.0. Warum? Keine Funkstörungen: Ich nutze das Kabel für Funk-Dongles (z. B. Tastaturen). Auch Dongles wie DeConz/Homeassistant Connect ZBT-1, Sonoff ZigBee Dongles und so weiter. Denn USB 3.0 stört das 2,4 GHz Funknetz, was zu Problemen führen kann. Mit USB 2.0 läuft alles absolut stabil und störungsfrei und durch die Verlängerung kann man das Kabel da hin legen, wo keine anderen Störquellen sind. Dazu ist es für solche Bedürfnisse völlig ausreichend: Viele Geräte wie Drucker oder Maus-Empfänger nutzen die Bandbreite von USB 2.0 nicht mal ansatzweise aus und oft würde sogar USB 1.1 reichen. Ein teureres USB 3.0 Kabel bringt hier also null Geschwindigkeitsvorteil, ist aber steifer und fehleranfälliger. Wie üblich gibts bei Amazon Basics gute Qualität für kleines Geld. Fazit: Wer eine stabile Verlängerung für Peripherie sucht, sollte gezielt zu USB 2.0 greifen. Mehr braucht man hier nicht, und man vermeidet unnötige Probleme.
