Needed this during the pandemic for my patio door. I didn't want to go thru the halls of my building.

Gets a pass.
Good lock for the price. Only thing to note is that the trim (facing the bolt side) on this unit has rounded edges, whereas my old lock and the door cut-out is rectangular. Consequently, when installed the corners of the trim are not flush with the door cut-out, which looks slightly off (see picture).

Rust spots in six months.
The lock works fine, but it’s showing rust spots in just 6 months. The picture is after I tried to scrub the rust off. We do live at the beach, but this is still very quick for the lock to be showing rust. Not recommended for beach homes.
