Update: It worked! New photo is added of fully healed thumb. Again, no discomfort whatsoever. The area is still slightly discolored, but other than that I have a smooth wart free thumb for the first time in years!! Yay!!!! I have had a small wart on my dominant thumb for the past several years. Although it is small, it’s location has made things difficult (particularly writing, which is terrible for a college student) as it has always been very sensitive and occasionally painful. I’ve tried freezing it, soaking it, using oils, even tried to just cut it out (not my finest moment) but nothing worked. I ordered compound W clear strips same day delivery on August 17th. The first photo is August 18th. I forgot to take photos after that. To be honest I wasn’t convinced it was actually going to make it come off as the wart and the skin around it was tough and white after two days but nothing changed after that. Then last night, August 25th, the skin had literally just lifted off of my thumb and the wart with it. The area is slightly sensitive post removal but throughout the entire process there has been no pain or discomfort whatsoever. There is still a small ring on my thumb that was the base of the wart, along with what look like some patches in the center, so I will be covering the area with a regular bandaid today for protection and to let the good skin heal a little before I start using compound W to remove the rest tomorrow. I will say that unlike advertised, these strips are not waterproof. The surface getting wet is fine but if water reaches the adhesive it will come off. That wasn’t a big problem for me as I would typically take it off before I showered (if I didn’t I wore a glove) and I was careful when washing my hands. Also, let the strip tell you when it’s ready to come off, not the other way around. I tried to remove it prematurely one time and discovered that the adhesive and salicylic acid patch are pretty powerful and will not come off on any schedule other than their own. Once it is ready to come off though, replace it. Don’t wait until the 48 hours if it’s ready to come off before then. I only think one of mine made it that long, and for the rest I replaced them anywhere between 20 and 36 hours of use. Again, you’re on the strips schedule not the other way around. Overall I am HIGHLY satisfied with this product. It takes patience, mine came off in 8 days but for others it may take several weeks. But no matter the timeframe, this product does what it says it will do. I will be updating whenever the rest of the base skin has come off and then healed over, but as of right now, 5 stars and I would highly recommend to anyone with a stubborn wart!!

I bought these bandaid ones, by mistake. So I bought the "drop free fast acting gel" version the day the bandaids came. But I did get a head start on my wart by using these bandaids. These are a very good product and seem to work. The gel version came within 2 days so I didn't finish with the bandaids, but they were working. The purpose I wanted this wart remover is for a GW wart on my groin. (I know it's recommended to go to a professional, which I have many many many years ago, but they basically do the same thing these do... Trust me I know). So when these bandaids came, I opened on up and tried to scrape some of the medication off the bandaid and apply it directly to myself (shaft btw, just 1 the size half a #2 pencil eraser). The medication is not liquid. It's more like a sticky gooey sponge. So taking a small amount of was nearly impossible. However I did finally apply some. There is no pain at all, which surprised me. So I left that stuff stick to me for the whole day. I didn't wrap it or anything, just in there going about my day as normal and it hung on. The next day, I showered and applied it again from a new bandage. Fairly quick, like the 2nd day or so, I noticed the wart was turning black.. which is good. You want to kill it. By this time, the gel version came, and apply the gel was way easier for my case use. The bandaid would be good for any other wart in any other location, but I need the gel. It's all still the same medication ingredients. In total, the wart was gone within 4 or 5 days. It may have been sooner, had I started with the gel and had the full coverage I could get by taking apart the bandaid. After I was done with using any of the wart remover, what's left is a burn. Basically a rug burn. So I applied this stuff called "Aquaphor healing ointment Advanced Therapy". Doing my research (chatGPT), this Aquaphor is best because of the healing ingredients and stuff. The 2nd best is regular Vaseline. Which I had to look up because I forgot to bring the Aquaphor to work one day and had to go by Vaseline. Either or, you apply the ointment not too thick and not too thin. I would just keep applying every 4-8 hours or so. (Now remember, my case is different being in the location it was in, so I could really wrap it and stuff. Which I was okay with, because I wasn't doing anything to get it dirty. Plus it was just a minor rug burn. Very tiny area.
