There are several manufacturers licensed by Dettol and not all have the same ingredients
There are several manufacturers licensed by Dettol and not all have the same ingredients. There are several manufacturers of Dettol in UAE, and not all manufacture the same product but the packaging is identical except for the manufacturer and ingredient part. The active ingredient in Dettol is Chloroxylenol. For example: SCITRA (Soap and Chemicals industrial &trading Co) in sharjah which is Licensed by Dettol (Reckitt Benckiser) add only 4.5% w/w of Chloroxylenol BUT Green Planet Industries which is also licensed by Dettol (Reckitt Benckiser) add 4.85% w/w of Chloroxylenol Never trust Dettol packaging check the ingredient. I hope Dettol (Reckitt Benckiser) would stop this cheap tactics.
