Will this run a refrigerator and a chest freezer?? If so what else if anything could it run??

Check the running amps listed on the refrigerator and freezer, then add them up. The 2500 watts is startup wattage meaning that it is peak power but will not continue to run at that level. My unit is about 1850 watts continuous and about 1600 watts on propane. Multiply your amps times 120 volts to get a rough idea of running wattage. Startup current could be about 2.5 times that. In order to run both you might have to start the refrigerator first, and then the freezer. Hope this helps.

Can different versions be connected in parallel?

Why run out of fuel in 3-4 hours in "eco" mode using only 300 watts? model 200951, rated 11 hrs run time. gasoline 1.1 gallons. rated 2500w @peak

No solid answer. Are you sure it’s running in economy mode? Noticeable throttle down when you flip the switch? Maybe check spark plug for proper gap. On my few generators, I tossed original plug that came with and installed an NGK. I have no proof that helped anything. Please follow up with this if you figure it out. Good luck!

Can this be used for a small portable spa?

I'm sure it could be used. Power should be sufficient.With that said it produces electricity. Water in a Spa or wet floor or ground don't mix well. I would keep it a distance from the Spa and make sure your extension cords are sealed and propted up to be safe. Roger
