Need for peel and stick shiplap
This was the perfect tool for hanging peel and stick shiplap. The rubber roller did not leave marks on the shiplap. It was able to apply more pressure to allow for complete adhesion. I also think I could use this for lamented walls I plan to put up in my van.

Works, but a bit tough on the wrist
While this roller does work fairly well for pressing self-stick laminate to a wall or floor, it definitely could use a more ergonomic handle.

Good product just needs a redesign
Efficient for what it’s used for bit my hands hurt the next day. Maybe needs to be more ergonomically friendly for something that needs a bit of force.

Solid heavy duty roller.
This is as exactly as advertised, and perfect for my needs. I put down friction tape on some outdoor stairs over the summer using my wife's rolling pin (don't tell her), and my foot which was less than ideal. Had I had this tool the job would have been easier, and I would not have had to hide the process from my wife. ;) This should do a great job at removing bubbles and assuring the best adhesion when I need to replace that friction tape in a year or two. Now I'm ready to do it right. Before receiving this roller, I was concerned that the aluminum handle might have too much flex, but now that I have it I can assure you it is very stiff and sturdy, and the rubber roller is dense and durable too. A nice addition to the garage tool wall for now.

used for carpet
I used this roller to install carpet that is adhered with 3m spray adhesive. This was automotive grade carpet that is glued down to boxes for a finished appearance. The roller is very light in weight and easy to handle, yet it is very sturdy. The roller is smooth rotating and is a softer rubber so it wont mar surfaces. This rolls smoother then my old one. The roller is held on with circlips and very secure and much better then using a nut. The one thing that I didn't like and that knocked off a star was that the handle is very skinny and not comfortable to use.
