s7plus has four speakers. does this case have four holes for four speakers?

Yes. It's one, long space on the lower and upper edges to accommodate for the speakers.

Can I connect my keyboard with the case on?

The case covers the bottom edge.

How well does this stand in portrait mode? Are the grooves on the case magnetic?

The grooves are not magnetic. They are approximately 3/4" wide & the Galaxy Tab 8 fits into them easily for landscape mode. This case isn't designed to stand in portrait mode. I suppose you could stand the case up in a triangle & lean the Galaxy Tab 8 against it, however the magnets on the edge of the cover don't have any corresponding magnets on the left side of the tablet to anchor it in the portrait position. It would be standing straight up & have nothing to hold it in place. I would not recommend this case if you are looking for one to position your tablet in the portrait position.

Does the front of this case fold back and out of the way for regular tablet use?

Yes, it folds back.. It's a nice cover.
