It fixes onto the GoPro lens with two grub screws. The grub screws have soft covers to the ends so they will not scratch the GoPro.I use this with a variable ND filter and with the camera on a fixed mount, and the adapter has never fallen off the camera. Nevertheless, even with the grub screws done up quite firmly, it would be possible to pull the adapter off so, if you are using the camera in situations where the adapter could be knocked hard, then you may want a (much more expensive) camera cage. In my use, however, the mount provides excellent functionality at a very good price. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Just what's needed *by J***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on 1 February 2022* I got this lens adapter for my Sony zv-1 so I can use a variable nd filter on it when I shoot video . No problems with attachment but you do need a steady hand to get it square on . I'm an old git so got the grandkid to do it . Fits well with 3m adhesive although how long it will remain in place we will have to see, but you do get a spare 3m adhesive pad .
