I am so glad I ordered this Knoops hot chocolate! The flavor is rich, smooth, and so much more complex than regular hot cocoa. You can really taste the quality of the cacao—it has a deep, authentic chocolate taste with just the right amount of natural sweetness. I love that it’s not overly sugary, so you can enjoy the true chocolate flavor. It also blends beautifully, creating a silky and comforting drink. I’ve even tried adding a dash of cinnamon like they do in Peru, and it’s absolutely delicious. Perfect for cozy evenings or sharing with friends and family. This has quickly become my go-to hot chocolate. I don’t think I can go back to the regular store-bought.

If you are a fan of a rich, smooth hot chocolate then I 100% recommend this. Very tasty, easy to use, works well in the velvetiser if you have one *coughs* I ended up asking for more as a birthday gift and will be putting it on my Christmas list next as I love it.

Not that sweet, and you need 8 heaped teaspoons for 200ml milk as per directions. not many servings. it is nice though and with sugar it hits the spot. very nice packaging

I have now tried the 65, 72 and 80% chocolate versions of this product. For me, the 65 or 72% are both about right - I don’t like my hot chocolate too sweet but the 80% is a bit much for my taste. It works well in my Hotel Chocolat Velvetiser and is now my choice - to be honest, I can’t notice much difference between the 65 and 72% products. Packaging is nice, it’s recyclable too. It’s not cheap but there isn’t much to compete with it except maybe the dark Cupsmith product (which can be hard to find) or the Hotel Chocolat own brand which is still more expensive. In the scheme of things, it’s good value and delicious with the locally produced Jersey raw milk we can get here.

Enjoyed this, I had the 72% single origin. I ended up weighing 34g out instead of teaspoon measurements. Made a good smooth drink. I feel however I have gone through it a bit too quickly!

I bought this for my velvetiser. Absolutely delicious and works brilliantly with the velvetiser.

It tastes not too bad and don't know if my product was just off but the chocolate isn't dark, it looks like it's off and the smell is almost like that of wine turning, the taste isn't that good either

Not the best, but quite nice. Carton difficult to get into.
