Sam Edelman Women's Edith Boot

I wish I could keep these, but there are too many cons outweighing the pros. I bought the black ones in 8 1/2 which is my usual size and they fit my wide feet comfortably. They were packed very nicely, however, the problem was with the boots themselves. At a first glance these looked like very beautiful boots, but under close inspection, and under direct lighting, there seems to be iron marks all over one boot, these marks are not removable. It was like the suede was ironed and was not supposed to be. Now I might have excused that flaw and just kept them if it was not for the heel. I read another review somewhere saying the heel looked cheap. To me, the heel did not look that cheap, but for this style of boot I think a suede heel would have looked better. The problem with the heels were that they are made of squishy plastic. Straight out of the box there are indents and marks on the heels, leading me to believe these will not wear very well at all. I would almost be afraid to scratch the heel with my fingernails! As for the bottom of the shoe, it looks like there is not much from keeping you from slipping around either. I only tried them on indoors and they seemed fine, but I'm not sure I would want to wear these unless it was a really clear day! I know these are not meant for durability, but I cannot justify the price with the amount of flaws they already came with. For the price I paid I would hope I wouldn't have to worry I would accidentally scratch the heels on anything! My search for the perfect 70s inspired heel continues.Pros:- Comfortable fit for my wide 8 1/2 foot. I bought 8 1/2 and they fit just fine with thin socks.- the heel is a good heightCons:-Dirty very easily-poor durability-Can see these wearing/getting damaged very easily-possibly poor traction outdoors

Always love Sam style shoes.I’m size 6.5 for most of shoes but purchase 7 for boots to have enough room for winter socks. As everyone knows, Sam Edelman runs 1-2size small so I order sz7.5 for this.Love material and packing quality... etc. only minor suggestion for the package is way too protected from the wrinkles. Understand the purpose but let’s save trash from package..

I bought a size 7.5 and they fit me perfectly. I usually wear a 7.5 so they are true to size. Very comfortable sole. The top of the shoe fits to the ankle. I wish it had fit a little bit above the ankle but otherwise they are great shoes.

Stunning! Beautiful quality, oatmeal suede with superior padding underfoot. I own these in black as well. Very comfortable heel height and lots of toe room for my slightly wide feet. The ankle is slightly fitted, kind of tapers in for a great sleek look.

These are beautiful and the color I have been looking forI would have loved to keep them, but the heel was too high for me.

These shoes are banging. I get compliments on them all the time. I love them. I read another review about the detail on the heel that someone liked it... I was unsure if I would, but I do like it also.

Love these. They are dressier, just what I wanted, and look like much more expensive boots than thy are. Great buy and so happy with them.

These are amazing, fantastic price, I have had so many people looking at them, made me feel million dollars. I would watch with other makes as some are cheap and not so genuine, these are well made trust me.
