Are the rivets aluminum or stainless?

Good question! I am pretty sure they are aluminum. If you allow a Wusthoff knife to remain submerged, you will soon see evidence of galvanic corrosion, with the rivets showing small dark pits.

Can i purchase a wusthof classic 4001l14cm (5in.) left handed serrated knife. or, can you tell me how to obtain it? thanks, lanny

Wusthof stopped making them over 5 years ago. Call their main office to see if they still have some. 800.289.9878

Can you put in dishwasher?

I never put my Wustoff knives in the dishwasher. I’m sure they would be fine but over time the handles may degrade. If you look after these knives they will last a lifetime.

what is the difference between this knife and the 4110?

Last year, Wusthof changed all of their product numbers and updated the logo etching, as well as added the new logo inlay on the handle. The model 4110 is the old model of this same type of knife.
