It doesn't come cheap. But like they say: you can't put a price on health, and in this case, that's oral health.I was shocked at how accurately the Oral-B app knew where exactly the Genius toothbrush was in my mouth at any given moment while brushing, and how it was quickly able to tell me that I was pressing too hard in certain areas.It's pretty unique and does seem to work really well!

Unfortunately after 10 months use it fails to hold charge. I sent it to service centre under the Warranty. They confirmed it was faulty and was covered under the Warranty. But they demanded aed200 to replace it! Warranty states if product is faulty it will be replaced free of charge. So this is very disappointing.

The App demands you have GPS location activated on your phone otherwise the Bluetooth will NOT connect to the toothbrush.Your location is tracked and stored by Oral-B / Proctor & Gamble, and you have no way to stop this or the app will not work.I spent 40 mins on the phone to Oral-B. Their terms and conditions say you can switch it of, but they admitted you cant!Beware if you treasure your personal privacy. I cant believe this is GDPR complaint .I use an app to "fake" my GPS location. So if they want to track me it will appear i'm in Kim Jong-Un's back garden in North Korea!

AI in this case helps with a recognition of the toothbrush, but often cannot position the toothbrush correctly.What's worst is the fact that the data is not used at all in anyway. You are getting the same result as with any other BT toothbrush. (it always says that I've covered 100%, however 2 minutes seemed like not enough so perhaps I was washing my teeth longer as on average it gets me to ~ 3 minutes without using phone).The biggest con is the fact that you are paying premium for getting nothing in return and you are loosing:- the stand that you get with 6500- the "clock" that you get with 6500- only one Oral-b brush (6500 has 4 in pack)- AI is often mistakenPros vs 6500 ?- NONE, AI is not accurate and what most important doesn't improve the routine in any way (it was telling me to move on, when I haven't finished with the section, useless)Save yourself money and buy 6500 or 6000 model. Exactly the same, with much better accessories and tremendous value.Seems to me like they think that just because we can pay much more (remember that you have to buy 2-3-4x of these for a family) we can be milked out of money. I said no and returned both and bought 6500.

I read an article about the technology packed into this device and this resulted in false expectations. I hoped that the toothbrush’s spacial awareness would help me to identify specific teeth needing better brushing and also improved gum care. I hoped that the app would offer specific and clear advice. I hoped that the app would make sense. But no. The feedback is general with phrases like ‘give the [teeth shown on blue] a little more love next time’. I have no idea what is really meant by this nor the specific action required of me. Also why am I prompted to give another 30 secs cleaning when the timer has finished? Also, could someone please explain the blue rings which fade and brighten during the vague ‘Brushing Habit Assessment’ within the app. Oral b need to be specific about what the toothbrush can and cannot do. They also to revisit the app interface and functionality - perhaps even offer real user trials before release. So disappointed with a product which is supposed to be the best of the best.

Just over 18 months old and it is going in the bin. Worked fine at the start (although the bluetooth was a bit of a gimmick and I don’t really need to track my toothbrush activity!) but it will no longer hold a charge. I left it charging overnight, the battery indicator showed as full… then it last for 2 seconds and totally drains the charge. I don’t expect such a short life from the most expensive toothbrush I have ever purchased. Very disappointing.

This is a fantastic product and a great replacement for my old Oral B brush which is now over 12 years old.I generally go and buy the top tier of any product if I can afford it and I have not been disappointed with this brush. Right from the first use, it has shown a marked improvement over my old brush. It's lighter and just feels better in my hand.In the companion app, you can select different journeys or projects. I selected the plaque fighting option and the app guides you to a perfect brush with a clear diagram of your mouth on screen. The case has built in a little phone cradle so you don't have to precariously lean your smart phone against shampoo bottles while you brush. My teeth after just one brush are visibly cleaner. There was a bit of visible plaque in-between two of my teeth and now it's barely visible. That clean feel is amazing. You can track any bleeding also which is a nice extra to see how the gum massage this brush gives you, affects any bleeding as time goes on. I like the medals you get also. A bit of a gimmick but I can imagine thst this is going to fare well with people who like to have a bit of a competition with themselves. Like the lunch time brush. I don't usually do that but I think I want that medal...It's an expensive product but think of the cost of dental repair that this can help avoid.If you can afford it (perhaps using Amazon's monthly payments?) you should go for it.
