Wonderful. Was skeptical at first. But now i regret i didn't buy several packs.

I have installed it on my air vents for the past 2 months and it is effective in stopping dust from entering my room from the AC vents but at the cost of a roughly 50% reduction in the airflow. How did I conclude this? because it got a lot hotter when it was attached. And just today I removed the 2 month old filter and was going to attach a clean one. Whilst installing the clean one; I used my palm to check how much air flow was passing through with and without the filter. I was shocked that about 50% of the air was also being blocked. So I would accept some dust to enter as long as I can get 100% of the cold air from the AC vents. btw, I also ready have the fan speed turned to the maximum.Overall you can use it if you have intense dust coming our of the vents; but if this was the case I'd look for a AC duct cleaning service instead.I will not be using this filter anymore and I will repurpose this filter for maybe something else.

Works awesome for return air to the furnace

So, I have a parade of allergies, the most significant being dust and mold. When I moved to my new apartment, I needed something to filter the air form the AC even more so that my allergies won't be triggered. This filter is so easy to put on and the velcro straps are holding up pretty well so far (couple of months). It does decreases the amount of air that flows in but it is not so significant. It filters the air really well. After a few days of having them, you can feel the difference.

Used in return air vent for ducted heating, just cut to size put into frame, works better than ever, very happy with this product.

At first we thought it was too dense for air vent covers but gave them a try, through trial and error we now rate this a 5 star product with a HUGE exception; the supplied velcro is worthless.To counter that problem we used “GREATMAG 60 Name Badge Magnets, Magnetic Name Badge Holders, Magnetic Name Tags with 3 Magnets”, super strong magnets, small measurements that hold the filter material very taunt to the vent cover (we use 8 per vent, three top & bottom then one on each side), works like a charm and makes removing/replacing a breeze. To match decor we merely spray painted them white and they are hardly noticeable.We do not cover every vent, just the ones closet to us in bedrooms, living room etc... where we spend most of our time, we noticed if all vents were covered the central heating/cooling was taking too long to do it’s thing. The material does remove a lot of unwanted particles and is fairly dense, just use common sense.Our heating/cooling guy said not covering all vents was a good idea and to NOT cover air intake vents, he recommended we let the main ac/heater filter handle that job.Huge improvement in air quality, amazing what debris comes out of ducts and vents the filter material catches.We plan on buying more to have on hand if that says anything.If there’s any small negative there is not a lot of material for $14 but comparing that price to 3M filtrete makes it a decent price/deal.

Bought these because I have a bunny whose cage is beside the air uptake. I was trying to keep she shed hair out of it. It was easy to put on and worked well until my bunny pulled it off when he was playing outside his cage. Maybe he was helping me because it didn't belong there. Anyway, easy on = easy off as well.
