Large sponge, great quality, absorbs a lot of water and soap. Very nice, gentle on the skin. I feel very clean after using it.

Larger than most sea sponges, which is a good thing!

I ordered the large and I like the size. I use it when showering. One application of soap and it does the job.I think it will last a long time, seems like a good quality sponge. Only drawback is that it is not real soft.I’ve had sponges before and they do soften up after awhile. Because of the roughness it is exfoliating but not damaging to my skin which is sensitive. My skin is really soft after use as it seems to even out the texture. I even use it on my face with good results. I am glad I purchased it. I do think a smaller slice might dry out quicker which I think is important between uses. I may just cut this one in half to expedite drying time.

This is an awful sponge. It's full of holes, as in my fingers poke through it all over. On top of that it's falling apart. I've only been using it maybe a month and every day more small pieces of it fall off, and trying to wash myself with the sponge in the shower is difficult because I can't keep enough of the sponge on me. It's awful. Thing is I've ordered these before, nicest sponges ever, but not this one. I'm on here right now looking for another sponge. Eesh.

After years of using nylon mesh scrubbers with shower gel, a friend turned me onto using sea sponge material instead. This is my first one and it turns out to be a good decision. Small quantities of gel foam up nicely on this sponge and, as promised in the instructions, while it is dry and stiff when it arrives, as soon as it is saturated it becomes soft and pliable. It is less abrasive than my old nylon mesh but still has enough texture to lightly exfoliate as you wash.
