Good toy for kids to learn programming and robotics

It's an amazing set. Great for kids age 7-10, and a good introductory set before Mindstorms. The problem is, There's 1 missing piece, Conical Wheel Z12 ELEMENT NUMBER 4565452 . This piece is an important one and can not be replaced with other piece. We are in the middle of building the robot cat and couldn't continue.

Great toy, a lot of fun. Only downside is the app drains your phone battery very quickly.

This is a great set. My 8 year old son loves it so much his reasponse was best day ever! He built the cat first and the next day he build the auto builder. The app is easy to use and he has no trouble figuring out what to do. He has now done the robot too. Quite an amazing product.

※バーニーを一通り楽しみ、ギターを作り上げた段階のレビューです 小1の子供用に購入しました。 子供用に買うには価格が高いので迷われると思います。うちもかなり迷いました。 レビューを見ても具体的な内容が少なく、どの程度アプリで制御できるのか分からなかったのも原因です。 Amazonで16000円で購入しましたが、内容を考えたら安過ぎると思えるコストパフォーマンスの高い製品です。 自分用にもう1セット買ってしまおうかと思うぐらい、大人でもはまる要素満載です。 それぐらいアプリのプログラムパーツ数が多く、複雑な制御が可能です。 小学生に使うこなせるのか？と疑問を感じるパーツ数があります。小1の子供には理解が難しいパーツもあります。 所有しているニンジャゴーやシティシリーズに組み込めそうな構造なのもとても良いです。 パワーファンクションだとテクニックシリーズでないと組み込むのが難しいので。 アプリはバージョンアップでプログラムパーツや対応製品が増えるようなので、拡張性も期待できます。 不満点（改善して欲しい点）を書いておきます。 ・バーニーの話す内容がいまひとつ。活用するのも難しい。意味不明な発言もある。 ・アプリのバッテリー消費が高い（発熱する）※iPad Air使用 ・単4電池6本（単3電池対応にして欲しい） 子供と一緒に遊んでみて感じるのはこのぐらいです。 この点を踏まえても☆5以上の製品だと感じます。 欲を言えば、スピーカーを積んだブロックパーツを組み込んで、バーニーやギター本体から音が鳴れば最高です。 この製品で発想力やロジックを考える力が付くと思います。 小学生を下手なプログラミング教室に通わせるぐらいなら、LEGO BOOSTで十分ですね。 何より親子で楽しめるので、これほど満足度の高いLEGOははじめてです。
