Review: Hermetically Sealed, Great Taste! - I appreciate the hermetically sealed, vacuum packed package this comes in. The kenkey has a very cool sour taste to it which I really like. This kenkey is a little firmer and slightly drier than another brand I tried. It takes me back to a study abroad in Ghana, West Africa. Review: It is hard to not be in Ghana and enjoy our social network while eating morning KenKey - It is hard to not be in Ghana and enjoy our social network while eating morning KenKey, sardines and sauce. But we were able to get pretty close! Definitely must be steamed to eat. Packaging is great such that we could plan for guest that would come later since the vacuum wrap holds. Great to have a resource and will let friends know. Thanks

Too Expensive, picture description decieving.
Nice texture but too expensive. Picture shows 4 pieces of kenkey but I got 2 pieces for $17.00, about $9/kenkey. Price by piece not by oz. That's inaccurate description. Reason for 2 stars.

Very good
I actually ordered this twice and u have to say i love the taste of the kenkey, its sourness is perfect, it actually smells stronger than it taste. It is a bit expensive given that some sellers on Etsy sell triple the quantity for a few dollars more.

It wasn’t soft as I anticipated. It tastes nicer when it is soft. You need to boil it for a long time if you want it soft.
