It does tilt slightly when the side is down but we have brought an extra mattress, which was about 5cms thick & length of 80cm x 40cm.The crib then doesn't tilt. En nuestro caso lo usamos a diario, por lo que añadimos un colchón para que el bebé estuviera más cómodo, ya que el que lleva la cuna es un poco duro y además se hundía torciéndose. Cuando lo monté, me costó aplicar la parte de abajo, ya que se tiene que hacer por el suelo, no por arriba, lo cual complicaba las cosas si ya de por sí tienes espacio. En general, me gusta la cuna.
