Smiffy's Men's Ideal Belt And Holster

I am not sure why the previous reviewer was surprised that this very inexpensive gun-belt was plastic. Of course it is plastic... but it is in no way flimsy or cheap looking. In fact, at a reasonable distance (like what would be typical between two party guests or from a stage to an audience) this is a convincing prop. I ordered this for an 1800's Gold Rush themed party and it was spot on: right down to the detail of the thigh ties to make it possible to get the gun from the holster without using both hands. I could not be more pleased with my purchase. In fact, immediately after the party, my 18 y.o. son borrowed it to use as a prop for a play that has some cowboy characters in it. If you are ordering this for a costume or for play, you will have no problem with it. If you are looking for something that can stand up to heavy use, you probably want to get a leather holster and gun-belt. (Be prepared to pay a pretty penny.)

Excellent custume holster it is plether or plastic. The only 2 drawbacks : it does run a bit small am a 34 and just fit me. It does expand a bit buy for a bigger person it may not be enough. Secondly the bullet syraps are way too wide, if you are looking to accessorize with fake bullets or spent caps try shot gun shells as these are the only ones that will fit properly. It is well made and close to the real deal....would be 3.5 stars.

This holster is perfect for costumes. Nice shiny leather and the thickest one ive found. Only downside is that the actual tongue of the belt that goes through the buckle is thinner leather than the rest so must be very careful about pulling it to much. And that the ammo holders on the back are too big for even fake ammo a holster this size should carry. Theyre more the size of .410 shotgun shells size or bigger.

I was very disappointed with this product. I was surprised it was on amazon. If I had seen it at the 99 cent store I would not have bought it. The regular price was $29.00 on your site. It was so small and flimsy you would not even give it to a child. It was delivered by regular mail in an envelope that fit in a small letter box. I did not even open the plastic bag much less use it. I will try to return it. It was a terrible waste of money, but more so the lack of truth in advertising. It did not look like the picture at all. I did not expect anything like a real holster, just something that would resemble the look of one. This item is a rip off. I feel more than cheated. I would not recommend this for any circumstance .

I'm a relatively small woman (waist of 27", hips 38") and this belt wears perfectly off to one side on the third belt notch. It creates the exact look I was going for (for those who are curious, the look was slightly disinterested quick-draw expert). The belt does fall off if I use the first notch (I'm guessing it fits a 30-40 inch waist). I should also add that I was pleasantly surprised to have ammo loops in the back, just like the brown Smiffy's belt and holster (one holster). Considering the price, it works just fine for my purposes. I would have liked the finger of the belt to be a little thicker since I'm sure I could break this one with a well-timed tug, so I took off one star. However, adding my own belt will fix that. Overall, very satisfied.

I searched high & low locally for an authentic-looking, affordable holster for my son's graduation costume party to no avail. Everything that was affordable looked cheap & fake. NOT SO HERE!! I ordered this holster last minute from Toynk Toys. I called them to let them know that I desperately needed it to ship as promised & to arrive on time. I got a call back from a very sweet female representative. She was friendly & professional. She told me that the holster was in stock & that she'd personally see to it that it shipped that day. She did!! The holster arrived and looked even better than we expected! My son ended up not using the belt that was included; he preferred using the holster on his western belt. Got the package today, sooner than expected, so that's good! Unfortunately it's pretty cheaply made, very thin material, and certainly doesn't fit a size 40 waist. Wished I'd have known that before ordering. Perhaps change description to "medium or smaller for size". Maybe my daughter can use it if she decides to be a gunslinger... Thanks anyways.

They look like leather but they're a light weight foam. Not bad for cosplay but that's about it.
