Claims verified. It does what it says very well.
I've used it for a couple months now. It's durable, holds a charge, is quiet, it meets all the claims. Hey, it better - it's really expensive! But yeah, it delivers plenty of power. I can't imagine anyone wanting to use it at the highest setting. I use it on the lowest setting and that's plenty of power. I give it only 4 stars on pain relief because it's not a cure-all. If you want optimum you should add in big time stretching. This won't substitute well for stretching, but it helps with after-workout stiffness and loosens muscle adhesions. I'm entirely satisfied so far. It's tough, durable, well built.

Pretty Amazing Piece of Equipment
OK, for clarity, this is a double review - primarily for the Hyperice Hypervolt Plus product, but also the case that is pictured that was also purchased on Amazon. I am pretty skeptical of things like this. My sister had the lower priced model, the Hypervolts Massage Gun that sells here for about $200. I tried hers and fell in love with the product. It was instant relief for tight muscles and was really great both pre and post workout. When we returned from our trip where we tried it, we ordered this Hypervolt Plus model right away. It was about $100 more but it is a bit beefier and definitely more power. The variety of different attachments and sheer power of this model makes it worth the xtra $, but I would also recommend the lower priced product as well. The case is also on Amazon and is definitely worth the approx. $30 sale price. All items, the charger and the gun fit the case perfectly and it makes it ideal for travel.

Expensive, but worth every dollar
I have been using the Hypervolt Plus for over 100 days, and it continues to outperform my expectations. After having used (and returned) a dozen different massage guns in the past couple of years, I was skeptical. But, right out of the box, I was impressed. This product was very professionally packaged and came with a variety of documentation and instruction cards. (The manual was difficult to read because of the size and color of the font.) Clearly, this was a serious product for serious users. The Hypervolt is heavier than most massage guns, weighing in at 3 pounds. The strong motor and flywheel probably account for the extra poundage. The diameter of the handle is larger than most. There are only 3 speeds, but the lowest setting approximates the top speed of other units. I registered my Hypervolt on the company's web site, which I have never done before. Most other brands don't even HAVE a web site. There is a small case to hold the attachments, but no larger case to hold the unit and the attachments. But if you want a larger case, you can order one on their web site. You can also order replacement attachments or even a new battery for $80. After charging the battery, I used the Hypervolt for several hours. Even after this serious usage, the battery was only half depleted. There was no loss of effectiveness as the battery power decreased. Only once in the past 100 days did the Hypervolt shut itself off because the battery was depleted. The impending shutdown was preceded by the blinking of the one remaining battery light and a pulsing of the red ring at the base of the battery. Don't expect an exact correlation between the battery lights and the color ring at the base of the battery. For example, you might have three lights and a red ring, but when you turn it off, it might drop to one light. This is not a major criticism. All in all, I am thrilled with my Hypervolt Plus massage gun. I let a friend use it, and he is going to buy one for himself.

Fantastic Investment
I bought my first percussion massage gun for me and my girlfriend and so far this thing is fantastic. I've been on a decent work out kick lately, weights, bike, and jump rope everyday. I always try to push myself harder then yesterday, so I do feel pretty sore after my workouts. The Hypervolt Plus has definitely helped me with my recovery times, using it when I wake up and after a workout. I had a hard time choosing inbetween this and the Theragun Prime which only costs $25 more. The Prime offers 2mm more of amplitude (how far the head moves back and forth) then the Hypervolt Plus's 14mm. However the Hypervolt has apparently up to 20lbs more of stall force (how much pressure can be applied before the device stops) at 50lbs. As for noise levels, the Plus is not intrusive at all, we can use it while watching TV without adjusting the volume, but the Prime is a tad bit more quiet. Lastly the Plus has a longer lasting battery life at 2 hours and 30 minutes, and the battery can be replaced unlike the Prime's battery which is another huge plus as you won't need to toss the whole device when the battery is worn down.

The smartest choice for the current price
I was out looking for a decent massage gun and wanted to avoid the cheap plasticky ones with question regarding their durability, battery, etc. Sure, you can get a decent one for 130$ or so such as the Opove M3 pro 2 but then you are not far off the price of this one since you pay for the extra features such as Bluetooth connection, stall force, amplitude and of course the brand itself. (Bought it during the last discount) Compared with the current gen, it is the strongest within Hypervolt line up with good 14 mm aperture and stall force of 45 lbs., using it was simple and straight forward and the product's quality is of top-notch materials and finishing. battery is excellent and the heads selection is plentiful for anyone's use. However I think it’s a little bit over whelming, I wish the lowest setting was slower (Hypervolt rectified this with their newer generation) and/or they supply a head with a softer padding to decrease the impact. Not a deal breaker, I learned not to press hard and now started getting used to it. The application is useful (if you have the time and patience), there is lots of videos with different themes to follow and it automatically communicates with the massage gun to speed up or slow down via Bluetooth. Overall I am happy with my purchase and would highly recommend this top shelf item specially with the current discounted price.

Effective
I received prompt delivery the next day. Results are amazing. I was suffering from calf cramps and heel soreness waking me during the wee morning hours. I also was having pain in my neck and shoulders. This item was recommended to me by a dear friend who does my pedicures when I was telling her about it. It is very powerful and I only have needed the lowest setting to relieve the muscle aches and pains. Even after a few minutes I can tell a difference. When I find a really sore spot I hold the head on that spot until it stops hurting. I also purchased the case to store it in and use when I travel, so it is always handy when I need it. I highly recommend this item for anyone who suffers from tight muscle pain and cramps. I have tried other less expensive massage guns, but they do not compare with the effectiveness of this gun. It is definitely worth the money. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Chronic pain person
This percussive gun is honestly pretty solid compared to most I've looked at. After much research I decided this one over the new version of this gun (hypervolt 2 pro). While the pro has a better battery and better motor perhaps as well as a speed dial, this one seems to match it's performance pretty well. A lot of people have said the newer model is harder to hold and no real grip, but I think they are misinformed. The battery/handle comes with a plastic protector on it, which can be removed with ease. Once removed you get that rubberized grip that you get on the new version as well. As many others have mentioned they should include a bad given the price it is. Now onto the pain management portion. While I haven't used this for too long it seems to pack a punch and I mean that quite literally, haha. It's power is kind of underestimated when watching videos and such. It does go relatively deep given my slim stature/build. Some people could probably get the 12mm one and turn out to be just as good imo. I have fibromyalgia and muscles consistently throb and make things very difficult. This seems to help a bit during some days when my pain is at my worst. I was considering other brands and the more expensive theragun but honestly I think it's overrated for the price. Even this one can be a bit much, but I will vouch for it's high quality build. Just read up for what attachment is best for certain areas or just feel out yourself which you prefer. I have a lot of knots all over that this thing seems to handle pretty easily once guided over the spot for a few mins. It's a neck cracker for sure. Just watch out for the spin... It will jackhammer it to bits. Also important to note (as instructed) CHARGE FULLY BEFORE USE! For the pictures: My hands are 7 inches just for reference and there you see the rubberized texture of the handle. It's also kind of heavy, but you quickly get used to it. Edit 7/1: After 4 months of use the gun wouldn't charge anymore. It just flashed yellow for hours on end with no progress. I will say the Hyperice company was very good with contacting me back (through Amazon) and I was able to get a replacement in less than a week. While lemons do tend to happen with any electronic these days...I'll still keep the 4 star rating because when it does operate it does the job very well.

Superior product
Product, so far, has met and exceeded my expectations: Powerful, solidly built, effective. Highly recommend. If, after further use, I find fault, I will post.
