    Excellent content, poor editing

I have played tennis for about 45 years, been rated as high as 5.5, and taught tennis for a couple of years.  I have read about every tennis book you can buy.  This book is full of good content.  It is well worth buying, reading, and referring back to for reinforcement.  It does not get 5 stars because it badly needs the hand of a good editor.  The errors in it (that an editor would correct) are very distracting.

This book does not aim to explain in details all the strategies in a tennis match. It is meant to give you  fast advices during a match as you get mentally stressed and think something is not going right. It does the job pretty well. Moreover, you can still read it outside of a match and search on the internet or other books deeper details into the matters showed in this book, so it works really well as a strategy guide as well as a learning method guide.

I would often hate how angry I got playing matches, so I stopped playing them. This book changes it all. It taught me that I can be a sportsman. I can compete and enjoy that, not the result. It has great strategies. Love it. The book is a great compliment to the Inner Game of tennis book and Winning Ugly.
