Samsung Galaxy S7 Case LED View Flip Cover - Black

so far(2 weeks), it has been great. No functional failure. It does not do anything when music is on, but it shows time, and when a phonecall comes, I can swipe the cover to pick up or reject the call. I dropped my phone on the street, and it saved my phone. I love it.

I really like this case. Unlike the "Clear View" covers from Samsung, this one has the slot in the inside front for a credit card or transit card. I think one card would be the maximum; I do not know how well the materials would cope with two or more cards stuffed in there. The LED-dots display is handy for basic information such as the time, an envelope icon to indicate a message received, incoming call, etc. In theory, you can answer the phone by sliding your finger across the display part of the cover and talk with the cover closed. However, that action feels a little unnatural, and it seems just as easy to flip open the cover. Build quality is what you expect from an OEM case, which is to say the fit is perfect, color is an appropriate compliment for the device (I have the gold), and although the case grabs the phone only by the corners, it feels secure. I have not had the phone pop out unexpectedly so far. I have seen multiple reviews here mentioning that the electronics in the cover can be fragile. While I have not had that experience myself, I can easily believe it. The case feels well made, but of very light materials. I doubt it would stand up to much abuse. This is a 'slim' case that would offer basic protection for the screen and corners. If you are looking for something to protect from drops or children, you should look elsewhere. Compared to an S-View or Clear View case, this one offers a less elaborate display, better screen protection (and keeps the screen cleaner) and has the credit card slot which is the main benefit for me.

WOULD LIKE MAGNETIZED COVER TO LEAVE OPENED ALL THE WAY, BUT THIS CLOSES SUFFICIENTLY. AM STILL LEARNING ALL THE NICE FANCY HANDY FEATURES, MY GRANDCHILDREN LOVE THEM..

This is on a samsung s7, an older phone, but a pretty good phone. I have had one on the phone before, and it lasted a few months before the display on the closed case quit working. Continued to use the old case until I order this one. Was not disappointed.

I love this case. It is soo cool. everyone says its nice and want to know where I got it from. all your notifications come right on the case front. It rings,it alerts you of your alarm and text messages right on the case. it does more than just show you the time which is a great feature. well worth the money.

UPDATE May 1, 2016: After less than 2 months, LED cover has stopped working and I have to order a different cover. Have had this case for a few months now. Very disappointed that all the LED features do NOT work. CONS: - LED GLITCHES- No volume monitor as claimed, pre-set caller icons do not work for all my callers, and some features (like battery life) only appear SOME of the time. I don't quite understand the glitches... -NO REAL PROTECTION - POCKET INSIDE ALREADY RIPPING - WAY TOO PRICEY FOR THE FLAWS PROS: - SLIM AND SLEEK - POCKET INSIDE HOLDS MY DL & CC WITHOUT ANY CRAMPING - LED IS CONVENIENT & FUN - PHONE IS SNUG INSIDE THE CASE - EASY ACCESS TO ALL PHONE PORTS - LIGHT WEIGHT

The LED display feature is one of the catchy features of this case however, within approximately 3 month i could no longer see the LED light display and it has not worked since. However, I still must say that this case is pretty durable and has protected my phone from a few falls. Eventually my screen broke after a fall as the front lid does not stay close. I guess it was just bad luck at the time.

I'm on my second one. Took me 1-2 years to wear out the first one, and I liked it so much I bought another. Has a nice protective cover. The phone itself is attached inside by magnet, plenty strong. I intent to get my third one in another year or so.

Al ser una de las primeras versiones, falta de muchas características comparables con las del s8. para empezar, al intentar usar la carga inalámbrica llega a tener fallas en los leds indicadores, ya que no dice que esté en carga y se desconecta y conecta hasta que se "mantiene" cargando pero eso lo indica el celular. El acabado es muy elegante (color negro) pero después de un tiempo la funda al ser rígida comienza a sentirse un poco incómoda para el uso del celular (ya sea escribir con ambas manos y doblar toda la funda o tomar fotos). En general cumple su propósito, y es algo muy innovador. Llegó en el tiempo indicado.

Not fair to comment as I ordered the wrong case but the one I did eventually get works well. Unfortunately my previous one did not last very long, about 14 months before the LED's stopped working. Update: get again the front Lee's have stopped working. Nice idea but they do not last long.

The LED display concked off in exactly 12 days......doesn't switch on anyways........ Clueless about what's next. Avg case. You could get better stuff at half the price.......but for the LED display which is not functional ....so....????!

ich mag diese Hülle, schützt wirklich und sieht gut aus. Haltbarkeit: bisher immer ca. 1 Jahr
