Nice simple no frills coffee maker. No complex electronics to fail. Makes small amounts of coffee perfectly. Easy to clean up and use. Perfect for a few cups. Good price for good product.

I like the 2 hour timer. It is the perfect amount of time for the size of the pot. You get 2 large coffee mugs for each pot, so it is perfect for morning coffee.

I got this coffee maker to replace my last Amazon Basics one that died of old age. Best price for a coffee pot. I don't want an appliance with a lot of buttons and controls. It brews the coffee quickly and is very easy to use. Perfect for this old timer.

This small coffee maker is perfect for its purpose. I've usually made my lattes with a manual pour-over filter basket in a French press carafe. I froth the milk by microwaving 1/2 cup -2/3 cup in a large Pyrex measuring cup and using a whisk. (Our Keurig won't properly brew espresso grind -- too fine.) I wanted to try a small drip brewer with a cone-shaped filter basket for extracting the espresso and this works! I don't use the "reusable" screen filter, as those are a hot mess with espresso grounds. I use a paper filter in the cone-shaped plastic filter basket and this little brewer does get hot enough to work! I use a full scoop of espresso grind and 12oz of water (plus the milk froth) for a perfect 16oz+ latte. And, of course, the machine brews two-12oz cups of regular coffee, as it will take 24-25oz of water. The warming plate works fine. I would give this brewer 5 stars, but as others have said, it is flimsy. It really could use a little more rigidity -- it's very soft thin plastic. I'll guess mostly recycled plastic. But, again, it works great, fits under your cabinets (Mr Coffee is too tall) and this is easy to clean. We'll see how long it holds up. Meanwhile, for $20, go for it.

This coffee maker does not need the traditional filters it actually has a built-in filter. It’s very small so it would be good for a cup and a half of coffee maybe technically you can fill it up to the brim, but I don’t do that.- I would recommend this for a single household that wants a coffee maker- it was really inexpensive and so far I’ve had it for three days and it works great

This coffee maker exceeded my expectation for the price. I didn’t look carefully enough at the description to realize that it has a reusable filter and comes with a measuring spoon. It is a simple, foolproof way to brew just a few cups of coffee as needed for our baseball concession stand. I’m very pleased with my quick purchase!

I purchased a previously owned version of this coffee maker about six months ago. I use it almost every day and have never had an issue with it. My Amazon Basics 5 cup coffee maker replaced an expensive 5 cup coffee maker. The other coffee maker had a carafe that was awkward to clean and very expensive to replace, if broken. The Amazon Basics is a great little coffee maker. If for some reason or another it stopped working, I’d replace it with exactly the same make, and still be well under the total price of the more expensive coffee maker.

Perfect for me. I brew 4 cups (=2 mugs) every morning. Made better, more robust flavored coffee than similar makers with basket style filters (I believe cone filters are best.) It' s only flaw for me is the power switch. I plug the power cord into a light timer (10-15 minutes before I get up) so that my first thing to do in the morning is get my 1st cup of coffee). However, this is not a toggle switch. After setting it up, I pressed the power switch. The next morning, no response. I had to press the power switch for it to start. (The power switch responds to immediate-not delayed power.) This was my only disappointment. BUT the coffee was great! If they made it with an on/off-toggle switch I would buy it again. (Sorry, returning it.)

Basic, cheaply made but works fine and is way better than the more solid Cuisinart it replaced which never poured worth a darn.

Ideal for small spaces and a couple good cips of coffee. Fairly quick brewing.

This works beautifully! Takes approximately 5 minutes to brew a batch of coffee. Highly recommended!

What I needed just for myself making coffee and tea I pray it will last for at least a couple of years or more

Love it, still have it a year later. Easy to use and wash.
