Ayr Saline Nasal Gel, With Soothing Aloe, 0.5 Ounce Tube (Pack of 1)

This stuff is incredible. The cold weather caused my nose to chap and crack. I tried face lotions, Vaseline, even lip balm. They would help momentarily but nothing improved it. I looked to see if there was a product for my exact problem, found this among other more expensive options and said $4? Why not? This is a life saver. It works so well. Softened my nose, no more cracks and bleeding, no more pain at the slightest touch. Easy to carry in my purse and you don't even need to use it a lot. I used it maybe 3 times the first day, 2 the next and one from thereon out. It works fast, is super convenient, and a little bit is all you need. I mostly applied it to the outside of my nose and a little inside the tips of my nostrils and couldn't be happier with the results. It might have stung a little at first but the second application had no issues because the product works that well.

Very hydrating and gentle on sensitive areas, like your nose, during a cold. It will save you from the worst of the damaging dryness of having a constantly running nose for days. Very easy to apply with a finger or q-tip. Quality is very good and this is always in my ‘cold defense kit.’ It’s also nice to have for the dryness that comes with winter.

So, I have ordered the 'Ayr' saline gel spray (and love it); then decided to order this 'Ayr' saline nasal gel (with soothing aloe). I like that this tube came in a sealed box, and the tube is totally sealed upon receiving. To open, you use the cap to puncture through the foil protective film. This is a decent sized tube (0.5 ounce), and a little bit goes a long way. This gel is thick, but absorbs well into the skin; there's no greasy feeling, and no stickiness either. I use a q-tip to help directly apply the gel into my nose; I feel relief from dryness within minutes. I like that I can not only use this for my nostrils, but also use for dry/sore areas around my nose (such as what may come from frequent tissue use). This gel has been truly helpful for my needs. I have allergies, as well as frequent sinus issues; this leaves my nose feeling so sore and dry (at times). This gel works wonders for me, and could be helpful for other purposes too (like CPAP or oxygen users). I am very satisfied with this product, and happy with how better my nose feels. Since this gel is super thick, and goes a long way; I do think this is a good value for the price point (currently listed at around $3.62). It's also nice that this product is FSA approved, which may be of importance to some. I definitely can recommend this product, and would order again.

Indoor air during the winter does a number on my nose and sinuses, even with a humidifier running. This product makes it bearable, as it moisturizes and heals dry, inflamed nasal passages. The scent was a bonus: a very subtle, soft rose that makes application a pleasant experience, and that quickly dissipates so you're free to breathe without difficulty or distraction.

I wish I had known about this sooner. That discomfort/burning deep up in my nose was instantly soothed - honestly, a miracle. I thought I'd only need this for when our wood burning stove is constantly going (our only heat), but we got a warm (not hot) spell out of nowhere and it zapped the humidity for some reason (my room hygrometer read 27% - yikes!) even though I'm near the coast. Last night I was sort of distracted by my nose, not thinking too much about it but being super aware of it, then I remembered I had this! Immediate relief. I saw someone say you need to use this consistently for it to work - that's not true at all. Well, I guess it depends on what you're trying to soothe, but I literally used this once last night and my nose feels amazing this morning (humidity is only at 33%), which is why I felt compelled to write a review. (I also can't "taste" the scent, nor do I have a fresh feeling in my mouth, as they say they do, so don't be concerned that you're going to taste this in any way.) So, why not 5 stars then? Well, I don't give 5 stars easily anyway...but this would have gotten it if it didn't smell like rose at first (or if they had mentioned it somewhere). I really, really do not like rose (or vanilla; I know - shock!), but this at least smells natural and goes away very quickly. I'm not sure where it's coming from, the ingredients list doesn't elude to anything that should be fragrant, so I'm confused. I'll still repurchase since it honestly works so well. The tube has a foil seal that you puncture with the lid rather than peel off.

A lot easier to use with Child with Disability. The ENT said try a nose spray this didn't work but Ayr Saline Nasal Gel works perfect and easy to apply. It opens up the nose passage very nicely. I tried it before we used on our Special Needs daughter to see how it worked first. This was very useful and now my husband and I use it along with our daughter.

Well, this stuff works great. I must’ve got a defective tube judging from reviews. It has no odor, it doesn’t stink, it’s easy to apply, it works very well. Sure, the box went through the smash-0-matic, but the tube was intact. And oh yes, that little tiny aluminum thing on the top of it can be pierced with the pointy thing embedded in the cap. My nose feels better and it doesn’t smell a thing.

I purchased this product on the advice of my allergist, and I couldn't be happier with it. It's great for relieving the dryness on the inside of my nose in the winter and during allergy season. Even when the inside of my nose is irritated it doesn't hurt or bother it, despite the fact that I easily break out for most skin care products. It's super easy to use. Thick enough that you can just put a little bit on your finger and rub it inside your nose.

I was suffering with the driest nostrils that was started to split and crack. This save them from feeling dry and cracked basically overnight.

Excellent for dry nose

Sometimes a dry nose will swell making it hard to breathe through my nasal passages. This product has halted that. I use it with No More Colds Red Light Therapy and I have no more sinus issues.
