It doesn't require or need trimming. It is small enough that it can be flown indoors, but definitely best in a large, open area. Review: Piece of Junk - This copter is a piece of junk. When we try to fly it, it pulls very strongly to the left. There doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the vehicle. There is no way to adjust the trim. It is nearly impossible for an adult to fly it due to the left pull. It certainly is not fun to fly it. My kids can't fly it at all. This is our third drone and is by far the worst.
