The Columbia Restaurant Spanish Cookbook, Anniversary Edition

Our favorite Tampa restaurant and the cookbook does not disappoint. Lots of history with many, many recipes.

This was an amazing on a wonderful book. This book is a charming book which not only shares the story behind this iconic restaurant but it also shares delicious and authentic recipes from it! I have used these recipes many times which always turn out delicious and get rave reviews. Since I already own a copy I purchased this for my daughter so that she can make these memorable dishes for her own family and friends~ there’s something so wonderful about traditions being handed down. The seller was fantastic as this book came in wonderful condition very quickly.

Absolutely love this restaurant in Sarasota. My absolute favorite when visiting Florida. It is so nice to be able to make these dishes at home. The history and stories to go along with the recipes are a plus. Thanks to the family for sharing the memories and recipes.

I grew up in Tampa- the Columbia Restaurant is one of the best I’ve ever eaten at. This cookbook allows me to make my favorite dishes at home!!

This is a great book , with delicious recipes. It is very well written, provides some history about the author and the a restaurant called the Columbia. The name of the dishes are written in both English and Spanish. I was able to find a few recipes for items I have ordered from a local Latin restaurant and give them a try, and my family loved them. What I love the most about this book is that the recipes are simple and require few ingredients, so trying new dishes doesn't require too much advance planning. If you like Latin food but were afraid to cook it .... this is the book for you!!!!!

Good cookbook honoring this amazing restaurant. Noticed that the version of the 1905 Salad included in this book has celery among the ingredients, which is inconsistent with the dish I've been served (many times) at the restaurant. Was the recipe modified since the publication of this book?

I’m 72, a CPA, a Realtor, a Caretaker, &, a proud COOK, plus, I love the Classy Cookbook, the family, and, their CARE for excellence.. They have a SPECIALTY KITCHEN for each of their Super Dishes, &, that’s brilliant ( from Mr. GonsMart, himself )..

Read all the stories. First recipe I tried was christmas pork. Very good with marinated onion slices. Can’t wait to do something else. Only downside I see is finding some of the spices. Worth buying, especially if you can’t get to restaurant regularly.
