Glad I trusted the process
Actually worked without leaving buildup! I didn’t follow directions perfectly so my hair didn’t turn out perfectly BUT I wanted to say this stuff was a big improvement to my hair. First pic in the blue shirt was without Curlsmith, then during the application, then the following morning because I did sleep in it a little damp. I also brushed it out for more volume so your hair might look better lol. But yeah this works great for me made my hair look and feel great too!

Defines waves well
I’m surprised that I actually really like this stuff! I have thick, wavy hair with some curls and the gel helps keep them defined for days even after being combed out. My hair is still soft and not crunchy even after multiple applications. The scent isn’t great but I don’t mind it too much since it doesn’t linger in my hair. I’ve never tried a curl cream that worked as well as this one

It's good at achieving more tidy curls, BUT...
This achieves nicer curls than my gel, but feels oddly "astringent" when running thru hair with hands (ie, not slippery); however, I stopped using because my already course hair got more dry looking and feeling. I prefer gel.

Dammit I hate that this stuff is so expensive because it’s the only thing I’ve found that works for my weird wavy straight hair so it is what it is. I’ll get the bigger size, sigh….. Good stuff.

Nice and light without the crunch!
Lovely light gel which holds my curls without having the 'crunch' affect. I use it with the air-dry cream but actually diffuse with hairdryer on low heat and it gives me a healthy bounce of curls. My hair is thick, curly and quite coarse esp as 50% grey coverage now. Am a real fan of Curlsmith products.

Very light gel yet it gives a medium hold to your curls without drying it out. Don’t have to use a lot to get the results you want. Worth every penny
