NordicTrack T Series

My daughter and I really like this treadmill. Easy to use and quiet. Paying for the delivery + setup was worth every penny! Two men brought it to where I wanted it in the house, assembled it much faster than I would have been able to, and made sure everything worked. They tidied up after themselves, too.

The T10 Treadmill from Nordictrack is an awesome upgrade from the 20 year model we had. They are sturdy, reliable and overall, well built machines. IFit, on the otherhand, is comparable to the bloatware loaded on phones and computers. In a never ending race toward subscription eternity, Nordictrack requires an iFit pro membership to use regular subscription fee apps on their system. On top of that, their membership is about $40 a month. You'll need paid subscriptions to Netflix, Primevideo, and/or Spotify in addition if you wantntonwatch those. You can still use the treadmill without an iFit paid membership but I wonder how long that will last.I use an android tablet slung over the treadmill screen if I want to watch videos or use my phone and wireless earbuds to listen to Spotify. Nordictrack would be smart to make these apps free to use on their system. Next time someone asks my opinion about Nrodictrack equipment, I may be more inclined to tell them to shop around for a brand that is less inconvenient. Overall, it doesn't diminish the quality of the machine itself. But a company that creates inconveniences for those that don't pay, that are easy enough to get around, you have to wonder how long until they disable your machine for a fee. It certainly "updates" itself enough. Just my $0.02. Again, an excellent machine that does the job well at a decent cost. Just don't fall prey to the extra expense of the gimmicks.

Easy to set up and start using. Great display that doesn't distract from your workout. I love the aux port so I can listen to audiobooks through the speakers while I walk. It isn't overly loud (though it does make noise) and even at my age (late 40s) it doesn't hurt my knees to walk for a long period of time on the machine. I like the handles and plan to use a mobile desk option to get a little work done while on it. The base seems long enough to do that. It's sturdy and stable and takes up less room than models meant for a fitness center. Great value for the cost.

Assembly was pretty easy, though I’m not sure how one person can do it all alone. I needed my husband twice- once to lift the bed out of the box and then again to hold the bed up while I installed the hydraulic arm. The bolts that need to be removed to install the arm require a #11 socket which was not included, the wrench that is included is 5/16 on both ends which was too large. Otherwise I found assembly to be quite easy with the tools provided. The instructions are clear enough, but I personally really hate how they’re written so recommend finding a video to assist. I had such a good inaugural run on this tonight. The treadmill is pretty loud though and my husband could hear me on it very clearly from the floor above (albeit it was directly below him). Now the super annoying part. I jumped off onto the rails doing sprint intervals during the run and noticed how narrow the rails are- they also tilt inwards and I nearly rolled my ankle. Then after the run I looked down and noticed the belt had eaten into the soles of my BRAND NEW $160 shoes! Because the rails are so narrow the whole sole of the shoe doesn’t fit and I didn’t even notice the belt sawing into them. Of course it’s more my fault than the machine’s which is why I didn’t deduct much from the rating but I’m still sad about it. But not THAT sad these can be the treadmill shoes and I can buy another pair for outdoors. All that considered- my husband got me this so I could continue training on bad weather days and it will do just fine for that!

I bought this for my mother, it arrived on time. No issues. I paid for the expert installation, which we had no problems. 15 minutes after the technician left, the thing stopped working. Of course I was at work, so when this occurred my mom did not know what to do. She called the tech back and he confirmed he could not figure out why it stopped. Later that evening I stopped by my moms house to see what the story was. Everything seemed to work except the belt. Now I have to call NordicTrack and see when they can send someone out. Amazon, is pretty good about offering solutions as far as returns. I was given 3 options. 1. Call Norditrack 2. Have a local repair person fix it, and they would refund me $120.00 3. Complete refund on both the unit and shipping (I would assume the 3 year maintenance plan). I am giving this 1 star because despite some of the good and bad stories, there should be no reason why this thing should have died. I am hoping I get a quick response tomorrow and we can work from there. I will update as we go along. ***************UPDATE So it was initially decided that the motor was broken on the machine by the technician who was dispatched about a week later. It took about 2 weeks to receive another motor. Add a few days to dispatch another tech at this point we are talking almost a month since the machine has arrived. (I was actually contemplating of just doing a return because it was nearing the time to pay the charge on my credit card.) Back to the story, so the tech shows up, we have the new motor, and an excited mom, I then find out that its not the motor, but the control panel. Again back to square one, another 2 weeks for delivery. Again a couple days to dispatch a technician once the part arrived. Tech arrived installed the new control panel and the machine runs, and hasn't had a problem since. Its been working with no issues for about 2 months now. Mom is happy, but I'm not really sure it was worth it. At this point I can't recommend purchasing this unit through this sales channel. Amazon was perfect but I don't know if it is Norditrack, the warehouse who holds this equipment, XPO who ships this equipment, the tech who installed this equipment... bottom line... a product was purchased for over $700 and it didn't work for almost two months from the day the transaction was completed. We weren't given anything for our troubles. Yes we weren't told "oh well sorry no refunds, all sales are final", we were offered a refund of $120 if we decided to let Norditrack off the hook and go with a local repair person, but there was nothing saying "we are sorry for what happened, the month and a half that was lost will be on us" (the company that failed to delight you as a customer). The only power as a customer is a review, to forewarn others of such an awful experience. I work in the customer service industry, so I know how hard it can be to please customers. Simply The Best Treadmill You Can Buy Online I bought this treadmill in November 2023, and it took two years of active use for me to leave a detailed review of my experience. For the sake of brevity, I am going to break this review into sections: purchase, delivery, packaging, assembly, aesthetics, and daily use. Lastly, I will provide my personal opinion for those thinking of buying one. Purchase: I bought the NordicTrack T Series 6.5S Treadmill in November 2023 using a free trial of Amazon Prime. I paid about twenty bucks extra for "room of choice" delivery, meaning it would be brought into my living space; otherwise, delivery would be to the front door. Buy it new, as a reconditioned or used model might come with a few missing parts. I did not buy the protection plan, but consider getting one if you're clumsy or the treadmill will be used by multiple people. As a base for the treadmill, I bought the Sunny Health & Fitness Non-Slip Home Gym Mat. Regardless of your floor type, you need a durable mat to keep dust out of the internal components. Delivery: It's better to be at home when this is delivered, and I was home that day. The delivery truck was like one of those moving trucks due to the item's weight. It was a good thing I was home because I helped carry that heavy box to the second floor without it breaking. Packaging: The entire treadmill was well-packaged. The running deck came in one piece, as did the computer screen. Other parts were well-labelled. The dread of putting it all together was too much, so I left the delivery box sitting there for two days. Assembly: They recommend you have another person to help with assembly, but I did it all by myself. The initial step is to identify where you want the treadmill to go and use that space as your assembly area. I live in an apartment, so I chose the living room as the best spot. Carefully remove each part from the box and count them to ensure everything needed is included. The running board is the heaviest, and it comes with the motor pre-installed. Most of the tools needed to put it all together are included. The included diagrammed pictures and instructions can be confusing to follow. I found the diagrams to be full of assumptions and the font was too small to read. But no worries—there are YouTube videos that can help. (I used two YouTube videos to help speed up assembling the treadmill, but Amazon frowns on external links embedded in reviews, so you'll have to do your own search). Both videos offered immense help as I put the NordicTrack treadmill together. Take your time, as this is not a race. It took me several solitary hours to complete the assembly. If you're not good at assembling things or are not mechanically inclined, I would suggest you pay extra for professional assembly. On the other hand, the joy of putting it all together by yourself cannot be quantified. Aesthetics: When fully assembled, the treadmill looks good. It is far better than the ones in my apartment complex gym. The two videos mentioned will show you how to bypass the unwanted membership stuff required by NordicTrack to get the treadmill started. Daily Use: I use the heck out of this treadmill, and after two years it's still going strong. It has a lifting mechanism that puts the running deck upright for easy moving and storage. This mechanism came in handy when I moved to another apartment complex. I keep things simple; the treadmill is used only for walking or running. The many incline settings can be helpful when looking for a more intense workout. I have never used the sound system nor the fitness membership offerings from NordicTrack. Personal Opinion And Verdict: If you're on the fence about getting one, I say go ahead and splurge—provided you're going to use it to stay in shape. It's far cheaper than even the cheapest gym membership, but you need to be self-motivated to use it several times a week. Do not buy one and then keep it out of sight until it's needed. Mine is in my living room where I see it every day, which motivates me to use it several times a week. Is it a good treadmill? Hell yes, it's probably better than the ones I have tried in many gyms over the years. Will it help you lose weight and stay in shape? Absolutely, provided you use it as intended.

Good basic treadmill with auto incline. Not whisper quiet but it is not loud either. It is larger than most compact treadmills with a good sized tread area. Not the cheapest on the market but Nordic track does have a good reputation Not a great fan of iFit but the treadmill can be used without it. I think iFit should offer a free option for basics to encourage people to join. Am very pleased with the treadmill so far

Very happy with this purchase - overall well-designed, the belt is smooth and nicely cushioned, and the controls are easy to use with a nice set of options for different workout types. The single-press speed and incline settings are nice to have, and I had no trouble connecting the console to the iFit app on my phone, but it's apparently not possible to connect to it via Bluetooth to play my own audio through the build-in speakers (it does have an aux jack however). As for noise level, I don't find it any louder or quieter than other treadmills I've used. As far as setup goes, be aware that the box is extremely heavy. I'm an average height and weight male and was just able to drag it into my house through the garage from the driveway where it was delivered. So I would say that the additional in-house delivery service is necessary if you don't have a couple of strong people to carry it. I'm fairly handy and assembly took me about 2 hours, but I wasn't able to complete the final step (installing the storage arm under the unit) as there is no safe way to hold the base up while working on it alone (I don't plan to use the storage option anyway). Note that it doesn't come with wheels, so I recommend assembling it in its final placement or getting some furniture sliders if you think you'll need to move it at all. Because I didn't see it in the specifications, I'll note here that the height from the floor to the belt is about 8 inches, if you're concerned about head room due to a low ceiling, as I was. One last thing - the unit won't operate at all unless the safety key (magnetic red plastic box) is in placed on the console, so if you turn the unit on and it does nothing but beep, that is the reason.
