Works great! Definitely worth the price! You get what you pay for! We bought a Intex salt water system a month before and had nothing but trouble actually we had the Intex system 2 days and the motor locked up. But this salt water system was perfect easy to install and has been working perfect every day since we bought it. We where worried cause we bought the Intex system for $375.00 and it was junk buying this one was a lot more expensive But well worth every penny if we would have bought this one the first time we wouldn’t have had to put more chemicals in our pool from the first Intex system breaking. You’ll save more in the long run if you buy this system and not mess with buying the other system cause it’s a little cheaper.

This has been an awesome product once up and running. My pool has never been so sparkling clean and clear. The only thing keeping from a 5* rating was a difficult install, having to convert amperage, no plug for the power cord included if not hard wiring to breaker and rigging the PVC to match my existing pool filter. Not terrible but not an easy DIY job, but as I said once up and running it has my pool humming giving me a lot of happy swimmers!

I just passed my return window. The unit does not produce any chlorine. All lights work but I continuously have to add chlorine to the piol

I have a 12000 gal pool and thought a 20000 gal generator would work great but it didn't. System never maintained proper levels even at 100% setting. then after 1 year my cell housing cracked in 2 places at pvc connections. This is a piece of junk. I had a Hawyard for 10 years & it worked great & now I just ordered a new one. Don't waste your money on this one!

Its not easy to get this unit plumbed to an intex pool wall and pump system but it can be done. This is a very reliable unit and makes plenty of chlorine for your salt water pool very quickly. Much better than the Intex chlorine generators which are highly unreliable.

No, it is not easy to install! Not all systems are made the same. I have a Hayward pump and filter that has its own timer. The chlorinator will not connect to it. I had to get a professionally installed timer to then install the pump and sj20 to the timer. The plumbing part was no problem.

Keeps the pool clear with no effort. Once installed (which was easy to do) you don't have to worry about chlorine in the pool anymore. Runs when ever your pump runs so will maintain chlorine automatically. several settings and has a super chlorinator mode.

Great unit for the money, had a little problems out of the gate. the controller had a bad board in it and wouldnt produce any chlorine. the cell its self was clear, no bubbles at all. i called tech support. walk me the thru a few things to test and try. shipped me a new controller with 2 weeks and installed. up and running in 20 minutes. chlorine levels are great now. thanks again. very highly recommend great quality for the money and very easy to plumb up.
