I rushed to order these as I was snowed under at work and just went on the star rating. I was starting my first keto journey and chose express same day delivery. Read the reviews a bit later and it was too late to cancel but I am glad of that. They work brilliantly, I would suggest using them on first wee of the day as that is when the body will release the most ketones. It’s helped me track where I am. Takes a good 4 days for the levels to show, so you have to be strict with keeping to the diet. I had cauliflower cheese yesterday I couldn’t resist and my ketones levels have dropped which I knew it would but just proves the sticks work correctly. Hold it in the stream for as long as the wee is so it gets a good soaking. Hope this helps 😊 ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ They work *by N***S on 29 July 2021* I read the reviews after I purchased so I was a little sceptical but I got a keto positive result and then tested one of the kids and got a negative result… not very scientific but it put my mind at rest that they are working! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to understand and use. *by G***R on 8 December 2020* I've never used ketone strips before but I want to cut down on carbs and did a little research into keto diets. In a nutshell by reducing carbs your body will begin to use up fat stores for fuel thus you'll be more likely to lose weight, you still if course need to exercise more and eat less but they key seems to be low or no carbs for a keto diet.These strips will detect the changes in your wee. The strips are thin and you wee on the end that is a pale beige to begin with. After 30-40 seconds compare the colour against the chart which is on the side of the bottle and on the information sheet. So far the colour of mine has been a mid to dark beige / light brown colour (see photo).I have low thyroid issues and take medication, I've read that people with thyroid problems, kidney or liver problems should be very careful when following a strict keto diet so if you have any medical problems you may need to speak with your health care provider or do lots of research first. I'm going to reduce my carb intake gradually and I'm looking for a long term weight loss not a quick fast type, I think this is a healthier option as I'm 53 and have low thyroid, high BP plus mobility problems. I've become lazy relying on toast when I'm not hungry so need to break bad habits.I don't know if these strips work because the colour on the four tests I've done has remained the same so far but I'm hoping in the next few weeks I'll see a change in the colour along with a change in my weight. I shall update accordingly.The strips are very very easy to use if you can wipe yourself underneath you can use these. Or pee in a sterile pot and dip. They come in a black plastic tub. When you take one out apparently its important to immediately close the tub to prevent moisture getting in and destroying the unused strips. So keep in a dry place too.I look forward to updating you on any progress and I hope my review is of some help.
