When I received it there was already some charge in it which shocked me. I sat it in a window seal to allow it to get charged up and it did not take long at all for it to fully charge.I decided to test it out for a few hours. The light was shining just as strong 3 and 1/2 hours later. Shocking! I bet it it could have worked several more hours because the light did not get weak at all like it does on most solar products after a short time.This lantern puts out a good bright light. It is also very light weight and compact. I love how it closes s*** around the light when not in use to get even smaller.It has a good indicator light to let you know when it is charged too.
