I was pleasantly surprised that my package was delivered one week after I placed and paid for my order instead of two weeks as originally indicated (I am on the other side of the globe). Many thanks to all those who made the fast delivery possible. I am an amateur at knife sharpening, but this excellent tool helped me to turn out sharp blades at the first try. Incredible! It is obviously well-designed and well-crafted, robust but light, which makes for portability, and its utter simplicity greatly contributes to ease of use. By my standard, it isn’t cheap, but I consider it’s worth every cent I paid for it. So, yes, I definitely highly recommend this tool.

This sharpener gets the job done for regular kitchen knives. I wouldn’t recommend using it on high-quality or expensive knives, as I prefer a whetstone for those. For everyday use, though, it’s convenient, easy to adjust, and does a decent job keeping blades sharp.

Good sharpener that works well on knives at the 18 setting. It's stable on the countertop & there's no need to apply any pressure when drawing the knife through the sharpener. I run it 10x through the sharpener & 6x through the polish for Henkle knives. The cloth storage case is a nice addition. It's a good unit, but all sharpeners wear out & we'll see how long this lasts. The sellers price does vary.

Amazing how well this works. 5 knives in about 10 minutes razor sharp! Love it. Nice case fits in drawer too. Yes that’s hair on the blade so you know indeed it’s razor sharp.

I had an older Chef's Choice sharpener for 3 years that was finally wearing out. I ordered a new Chef's Choice 4643 and this one because it has a scissors sharpener and a selectable blade angle. I have a number knives that I keep sharp, some are less expensive Japanese knives that work well, but many are more expensive Japanese and German knives. Although I like the size and weight of this sharpener and it is easy to use, I wasn't happy with the way the blades slide through the sharpening slot. The instructions say to pull the blade through the sharpening slot10-15 times. Having set the sharpener to the preferred angle, the knives did not easily slide on the sharpening slot. Then knives seemed to get caught in the slot and did not move smoothly. The polishing slot worked better, but the knives were not sharpened, and even duller than when I started. Die hard that I am, I did try sharpening some of the knives again in case I did something wrong. The knives finally did get sharpened, but it took multiple tries. I also tried the scissors sharpener which was the primary reason I bought this sharpener. It did help to sharpen the scissors, but I believe I could find a dedicated scissors sharpener for less than $50. I decided to return this sharpener and stay with the Chef's Choice sharpener that lasts for at least 3 years for my knives.

Love this sharpener. Easy to use with the different settings for sharpening a variety of edges, depths n slants. Knives n scissors ✂️. Will buy again. Will be proud to give this for gifts 🎁.

The product came quickly. I used the sharpener on a couple dull knives I had to my amazement the knives were very sharp and do as advertised. I'll be keeping this.

I have had every sharpener known to man I think and they all fall short, way short, of this one. It's a bit expensive but worth it.

This is a great item. It is as good as they say it is.
