Easy to apply. A little goes a long way. Gave me the luster I was trying to achieve.

Buffs up nicely
I got this after watching several videos on how to polish polymer clay. This wax came up time after time. I decided to give it a try. It does have a smell to it but at least to my nose it isn't offensive. I barely notice it at all. A little goes a long way! This container is small, but it will last pretty much forever. It dries really quickly. I use my dremel to buff it on my ( prebaked ) clay. Makes for beautiful faux gemstones and also provides a protective barrier to prevent scratches to my projects. I've used it on colored polymer clay and painted polymer clay and it works nicely on both. It goes on clear and does not affect the color of my projects at all. It just adds a nice shine.

Does the job
Works well but requires repeated application to the inside surface of my metal bracelets. Especially my copper bracelets.

Worked well on my swords
Used this as directed on my steel swords and feders and it shined them up and seems to have kept them well protected from rust, though admittedly I've only used this stuff for a month or so. So far it seems a good value. I've seen some people complain about the scent, but I didn't have a problem with it, finding the smell even somewhat pleasant, though I wouldn't want to take a big whiff of it.

I love it when a product actually does what it says it will do
I have a collection of beautiful Damascus Steel blade knives of various styles that seems to be expanding all the time, as collections of things usually do. Because of the high carbon and low-to-mid carbon steels used to produce Damascus Steel knife blades, they have more of a tendency to rust, or even corrode if the wrong steels are combined. I rub a light coating of Renaissance Wax on each of my Damascus Steel knife blades to put a protective layer of wax on them, then wipe it off with a soft cloth before it has a chance to dry out and harden on the blade. I also rub a light layer of Renaissance Wax on the natural hardwood, horn, bone and other materials, and the plastic and man-made materials used to make the handles on my knives to protect them, too, again wiping it off with a soft cloth before it has a chance to dry out and harden on the knives' handles. Since I started using Renaissance Wax, I have not had any of my Damascus Steel knife blades develop any rust or had any drying out or cracking of my knives' handle scales. It is an absolutely fantastic product that has rightfully earned its excellent reputation over the years. Some of the reviews comment on the small size of this product's package, 65 ml. If I had a lot of metal surface area to polish and protect, I wouldn't be happy with this small 65 ml jar. But it doesn't take much Renaissance Wax to polish and protect a new knife I'm adding to my collection, or to polish and protect all the knives in my collection, so this 65 ml jar should last me for several years and is absolutely perfect for my needs. And I love the exceptional job it does in keeping the knives in my collection looking great. I love it when a product actually does what it says it will do.

Best wax for wood
Best wax for wood that you can buy. Since it doesn’t contain silicone, it dries hard and doesn’t get all gummy with the smallest amount of heat. Apply very thin layers (if you can see it while rubbing it, then you’ve applied too much). It polishes to a beautiful satin luster.
