A small tacklebox necessity
I bought this item to put in my tacklebox. Though compact and small, I found it to be quite useful for the purposes I got it. For one thing I don't want to carry a lot of stuff because I usually hike in to my spots. I carry only the necessities in a small plastic case. This multi tool is just right for this. It can unjam fishing line, it can cut line, it can hold a hook for sharpening or for tying a fly, and it can help loosen the hook from the fishes mouth. The Phillips screwdriver is just the right size for quick adjustments to my reels. The knife (with a little honing) is very sharp and holds it's edge. I don't use the other tools much, but I don't see why they could not be used. Yes, this multi tool is very small, but that is precisely it's value to me. I wouldn't buy a sledge to put a nail in the wall, so why buy a big Leatherman when you have small size jobs?

Small, Classy, Useful - Recommended
The "Winchester 22-01347" is a very small, but very useful multi-tool. It's small size hides a wide selection of surprisingly practical and well made tools. The wood accents add a small measure of class, so pulling it out in an office doesn't cause a lot of alarm (unlike whipping out a huge Leatherman might :-)This goes on sale fairly often and can be gotten for well under the list price. It is a good bargain for a well made tool.Recommended!

Tiny and hard to open
I got this today and was surprised how small it was. Closed, it is only 2.5 inches long, by 1.25 inches wide. Also, it is really difficult to open the tools in the handle. I feel like my nail is going to rip off trying to pull them out. Hopefully this will get better over time. The wood is nice, but I wish I spent more money on a higher quality product.

Fold out tools next to impossible to fold out
Pro: Great pliers.Con: The 6 other tools are so tightly encased within the handles you can't fold them out without using another tool for leverage or ripping your nail off. If you don't have nails, it is pretty much impossible to unfold the tools. Thought I could unscrew the star bolts a little to loosen it, but they just spin.Don't waste your money on this.

VERY SMALL but looks solid and size/weight preferable for some applications
I have a very large Winchester knife I love and saw this while looking for multitool so thought they would go together well, turned out this thing is very small. i knew it would be a good bit smaller but really i think the blade on this thing is just over an inch. thing is I'm a backpacker and that's what its for weight is always a huge concern so every though i wanted something bigger well... this isn't the knife i wanted but it's probably the knife i need. haven't used it much it works fine thus far. if your wanting something small and light i would recommend just remember this is SMALL. perfect for ultralight backpacking though sure i'll love it in the end.

good for the tackle box
I got this as a gift for my 10 year old nephew who loves to go fishing. He needed some help getting the hooks out of the fish and this works great with his little hands. It fits nicely in his tackle box and the wood grain makes it look really nice. I am sure he will out grow it or end up dropping it in the lake but for the price i can afford to buy him another one later.

Solid Multi-Tool
This multi-tool is probably smaller than what you might think. It's actually the smallest multi-tool I've seen - which could be a plus or minus depending on your usage. However, it's well constructed and has all the needed standard tools you would need for small jobs. We used this item as a graduation gift for HS graduates. Perfect item for dorm room needs. The carrying case that comes with the tool is perfect and adds a nice touch if giving as a gift.

This is a small, inexpensive, effective tool.
I use this little item to make repairs at the homeless shelter (where I work). I am not bringing an expensive multi-tool anywhere near the population I serve. I don't want to be a target, and expensive items disappear here. Since I need to make temporary repairs often, I needed something simple and flexible. This fit the bill nicely.
