Veg us the plant growing. Then blooming is when the product of the plant produces. So I like to top layer with worm castings starting in the second week of bloom an about every other week. Then around 8 to 10 weeks. I flush for 2 weeks. But then again my fruit is devil's lettuce. This is just my experience **Q: When you get a bag of the Dirco Worm Castings, does it smell?** A: It has a kind of dirt odor. Nothing that is foul smelling. You add it into the soil or make a liquid fertilizer with it (1/4 cup castings and a quart of water - let sit overnight and use to water your plants). **Q: There us no certified organic label!? I wantgivto my hermit crabs need to know its safe no chemicals?** A: I've been feeding my hermit crabs this for 6 months now with no issues **Q: Will this also produce worms?** A: Not at all.
