what color will the cat urine be?

It appears almost white when under the purple UV light...i've found out that you need to hold the flashlight within 24" of the wall or floor for best detection.

How does this uv flashlight work to detect bugs like scorpions or bedbugs ? has anyone actually have this work for those problems?

This does detect scorpions. We live in Texas and there are lots of them among the rocks in our backyard. As someone already stated, there is something in their skeletons that floureses. We have used them to find scorpions and they come out a bright lime green when you find one!!

Will the light work with natural light, or do you need to do it at night?

Will work in natural light although the effect is subtle. Darkening the room even a little, turning off lights and/or closing curtains or blinds helps significantly, the darker the better.

Do you need to wear eye protection when using this UV Light?

No you don't but you can if you want. But it's not a good idea to shine the light straight into your eyes or anyone elses eyes. The UV light works very well in the dark without needing eye protection.
