Meh... Expected more
I bought these headsets because they were cheap and I wanted to mic talk in Black Ops 2. When I got them I was amazed at how light the package was but that's when it started going downhill. It had that design where the headsets wouldn't cup around my ears but instead just was on them. Sound was depressing too, I would play an online match and hear stuff in the backround, I try out the volume test in Black Ops 2 and the volume goes up massively but when I play the real game it is not that loud. Microphone was crisp and clear but I don't like how it changes my voice a little bit. Instead of my voice sounding normal it sounds like I am whistling and sometimes picks up backround noise or senses my breathing Overall these headsets are ok, you get what you pay for Pros: Cheap, good microphone for price Cons: Flimsy, low sound quality, not comfortable, and mic is a little too sensitive

Cheap but is not good
I bought these pair a while back to replace my Sony Gold Wireless Headset on the cheap for my PS4. Once I received these in the mail, it came in a green box with all the writing on it. Once I opened it, you could see the headset itself with some manuals, a Turtle Beach sticker, and some guides. The headset was all made out of plastic, and the earcups had thin foam cushions on them. Now I am going to give you my pros and cons on these headsets. Pros: -Comes with a 4 pin 3.5 mm jack. This means that you can use this on you PS4 or Wii U. (I think Xbox One too if you buy the adapter). -Has a volume knob and mic mute switch. -Very cheap. -Rotating ear cups. Cons: -Very flimsy. -Gets uncomfortable after long hours of use. -The mic picks up everything in the house. -I did not like the sound quality on these. -Very quiet. Overall if you have a tight budget and need a headset for cheap, then this is for you, but if you have a bigger budget, I recommend you to buy a better headset.

Check your Black Ops game settings people!
-I wound up buying one of these;See my post-purchase comments below- First, I don't own this headset... YET. I'm checking the reviews and making a buying decision. BUT, I have been using the headset that came with my HTC phone, so I've figured out what works and what doesn't. Read on... For all those complaining about the inability to hear game sounds or only portions of the game sounds from the headset... check your in-game settings! You can enable/disable chatting, in-game sound EFX and music, you can choose to send sounds to TV, Game Pad or both... check your settings! Every complaint I read EXCEPT the overall volume... can be resolved in the Black Ops settings menu!!! :-) --UPDATE-- Noticed Amazon reduced the price on this item from $35 to $28 so I decided to grab one. I know the price will continue to fall, but I could play that waiting game forever. I have to say it's changed my gameplay experience! It's a much more enhanced gaming immersion. I feel a bit more like I'm "in" the game. Scoot the chair a couple inches closer to the ol' 65" Mitsu and dig in. LOL! Quality seem good. Not great, but definitely not one of those cheesy off-brand headsets. The foam around the ear cups seems a little thin and likely won't last all that long, but I'll do my best to take care of them and hopefully extend the life of the foam. And speaking of ear cups... as others have described, they're not really "ear cups" per se as they don't envelope the ear. But I found them to be quite comfortable and the sound quality was good. Volume level was sufficient. Didn't blast my eardrums, but the volume level was quite good for the game (Black Ops 2). I tweaked the in-game settings and audio mix and am quite satisfied with the result. Microphone boom is flexible and can be adjusted to any shape/position you like, as well as being adjusted for left or right hand placement. Volume dial and mute switch seem crisp and of fair quality. Cord is about a foot shorter than I wish it was, but it's usable. Plenty long enough to plug into GamePad if you're using the pad as a controller, and just long enough to plug into GamePad if you're using the Wiimote (you'll need to have the GamePad sitting next to you though; cord length is maybe 4 feet or so). In all, I'd say this is a fair product for the price. I would have been more comfortable paying about $20 for this item, but factor in the added enjoyment I'll get from gameplay and it's worth a few extra bucks. This is definitely the lowest price available on a headset with a boom mic for Wii U, so I'm feeling good about my purchase.

Good quality, works with PS4 and laptop.
Overall I like this turtle beach headset because it has clean sound and good mic. People hear me speaking well, I don't produce any static or noise in voice chat. I decided to try this Wii headset and see if it works with PS4 and PC. Well it does work with all kinds of devices that have inline mic on same 3.5mm jack (i.e. your regular jack), including tablets, smartphones, PS4 joystick and newer laptops. It will also fit Turtle Beach extension cord (from PC version of headset), so if you have a pair broken you can get this as a replacement for a fraction of a price and use with your old extension cord. Pros: - sturdy, - compact, - good mic, - compatible with other devices including PS4, tablets, smartphones, laptops with inline mic jack Cons: - sound output is low. I put on full volume and get volume at about 20 comparing to Z11/N11 pair of Turtle Beach. Overall I would rather recommend Turtle Beach N11, which has better sound volume. But if you are looking for compact headset and don't mind lower volume, get this pair. I use them for 2 months or so, they are working fine, and don't show any wear and tear, I expect them to last worthwhile.

Headset is very flimsy and seems like it would break before getting much use
I bought this because it was nine dollars instead of the listed $35 retail price. I figured/hoped that this reduction was because of slow WiiU sales and not a reflection of the quality of this headset. It has the "Official Nintendo Seal of Approval" on the box after all, and Turtle Beach isn't a no-name brand. Headset is very flimsy and seems like it would break before getting much use. Padding for ears is too light, I can feel the hard plastic underneath jamming on my ears. Would probably hurt if I actually wanted to keep using them...which I don't. Which leads me to my biggest gripe: The sound this headset puts out is FARA too low. Even with the volume on the set and the volume on the tablet both set to max, I can barely hear it. It's about as loud as standing ~20 feet from someone playing on a 3DS if they set their sound to half volume. It is so ridiculous that I pulled out a cheap pair of Sennheisers that I bought from Amazon back in 2008 that were broken within a month of using them. The left cup will intermittently drop sound. These are still VASTLY superior to the brand new Turtle Beach headset. The price is so cheap that I won't bother to send it back to Amazon. They have been really good to me over the years. Honestly, I am just going to throw them in the garbage and be done with them.

Good quality, but mic is too sensitive and the speakers aren't loud enough
I bought this headset for playing Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 online. When using it, you have to plug it into the GamePad even if you are using the Wii U Pro Controller since for some reason the Pro Controller doesn't have a headphone port. When playing on your TV screen online, you hear the voices in the headset and sounds through the TV. When playing only on the GamePad, you hear all the sounds through the headset. Even with the volume all the way up, it is still a little on the quiet side, but loud enough. The mic is way too sensitive, and often picks up background sound and breathing. You will undoubtedly hear people's background sound or breathing while playing online as this is one of the few licensed headsets for the Wii U. Other gaming headsets work as well, so you don't have to get a licensed one. Overall, this headset performs its function well.

Great backup headset ps4
Got it today works just fine on ps4 wish the volume could go a little higher though. I could raise the volume higher with the Spotify app by pushing the ps button while playing. But for the volume levels just fine for what I'm using for I have a ps gold headset when the battery gets low or dies I just plug this one in the controller for 9 bucks you can find a cheaper backup. headset. Mic is sensitive I would make sure you lower it and not have mic boom close to mouth unless you want everyone to hear you breath.

Found for a great price, but poor quality headphones
Poor sound quality and very low output of sound. Wouldn't recommend.

Good for a first headset, or if your price range is set low
I would have been disappointed if I spent a halfways reasonable amount of money on it but it's the best you'll find in it's price range despite not being anywhere near the quality of any other turtle beach headset I have gotten. The voice chat is very clear and it as good as other turtle beaches but the ear pads feel cheap and hurt the ears after excessive use. There is no treble/bass slider nor is there a chat vs game volume slider (not expected for this price range but still slightly disappointing.) If you have a 14 year old kid who loves Call of Duty wants a turtle beach so he can be cool around his friends this is what you'll want to get. However more hardcore gamers used to better headsets will be slightly disappointed.

Ottimo acquisto

Decent, cheap option for headset conferencing with an iPhone.
Bought this as a headset for use with a Mac for recording voice audio. The headset is of decent quality, just don't expect premium materials. They are comfortable for short periods of time but I wouldn't be happy using these for hours on end. The microphone sensitivity and headphone volume on the Mac was a little low but is better with an iPhone which is handy for mobile conference calls. I haven't tried this with any Nintendo systems.
