GENUINE Part 84544-0 Kitchen Sink Rack Feet

Some reviews stated they had problems. Here is my personal experience... **** WHY OEM? **** I needed to replace the original feet on my Kohler rack. The old feet came with the rack and had been in use for over five years. The original feet were starting to wear a bit from cleaning. Since the original feet lasted a very long time decided to pay the extra couple of bucks and stick with Kohler OEM. To confirm I was ordering the correct feet I went to Kohler's website and checked the specification sheet for my rack. The part number matched the sheet. **** CLEANING **** The feet can get stained depending how the sink is treated. My sink is a Kohler white cast iron coated with enamel. My sink feet will stay relative stain free If I rinse the sink and don't let residue such as coffee, food stuff, etc. sit in the sink too long. If I get lazy and let the “stuff” sit in the sink for a couple of hours or longer then stains may build up over time. I use a sponge encased in a nylon type web to clean the sink. I use the same sponge at the same time to clean the feet if necessary. If dish washing liquid does not easily remove a stain I have plain B. Sometimes I use Barkeepers Friend cleanser as recommended by Kohler to easily remove marks in the sink caused by oxidized metal from pots or other stains. At the same time I clean the rack feet with the cleanser. I never had an issues with any stain not being removed from the feet. **** REPLACING THE FEET *** I had to use a little force to remove the old feet. I tried to install the new feet while holding the rack with one hand and the new foot in the other hand. This did not work. I then placed the rack upside down on a flat surface. Next using both hands I was able to push the new feet onto the rack using both thumbs. One thumb may also work As some reviewers pointed out the feet have a very tight fit. For me this is a plus. The feet will not fall off. The original feet on my rack never loosened in the five years they were installed.

I have been struggling for years to keep the feet on my kitchen sink rack white. I tried everything. I will never know why it took me so long to look for replacement feet. Initially, I made the mistake of purchasing replacements from another seller on Amazon. They were not OEM. I should have known they would not fit! I received my Kohler GENUINE sink rack feet today and they fit perfectly. I took the advice of other posts and warmed them in a cup of hot water for a couple of minutes and they went on very easily. I also ordered an extra set for the future. I highly recommend these for those who are needing replacements.

Perfect! Genuine Kohler part, as advertised. There are the right feet for you Kohler rack, don’t be fooled by the others that claim that they are compatible, they are not. Excellent next day delivery.

Great item, just like the original that came on my sink grate. The only problem is that these come in a set of 4 and if you want to replace all of them, you would need to buy 3 packs because there are 9 total. I was a little annoyed I had to reuse one because I didn’t count beforehand, so that’s on me, but this item should be properly counted out for the grate it goes with. Or at least easily divisible. With that said, it has helped my grate look brand new again.

Worked perfectly once I got them on and restored the appearance of oor Kohler wire sink rack. To get them on, I simply held them under warm water to make them more supple and applied a little soap if necessary. They then slipped on easily and they snapped securely into place.. I did have to buy 2 packs as our rack required six, but one was lost in the process so it was good to have a couple extra.

Buy these, I needed 3 packs because only 4 in a pack but they are way better than the cheap ones you can get online. These are rubber the others are plastic and fall off into your garbage disposal and wreck it. These don’t get moldy as fast. The plastic one are very loose so have water sitting in them and get moldy a lot faster

Slides onto the four feet of my generic dish drainer. Great padding to prevent marring of counterto pand holds the drainer firmly in place. And there's no chemical/plastic odour.
