I'm way to lazy and old to be cleaning my mixers all the time.. I like to let it dry and hit it off with a hammer meanwhile breaking my mixer because its cast aluminum. This one is welded meaning it's mild iron, it's going to bend before it breaks. The good- It's short so it fits in my bins perfectly. The bad- I'm a bit huntched over when mixing, but for me having it fit in my bin is worth my back sacrifice. I went from my Japan made Makita mixer being a dead-beat using my other mixers. To an F5 tornado for a drill. What I'm getting at, is because the beaters are small your drill will be able to mix much much much easier. I was able to put this in a pail of water and run it for 1 minute slamming my drill from 1st to reverse and it came out 100% spotless ready to beat some eggs in the kitchen for an omelete.
