My favorites
I've been using these pens since the early 1990's and they have a great feel to them as I'm writing (depending on the type of paper). Refills are available but they cost almost as much as a new pen would cost. So, I buy them by the dozen for a great price of less than 50 cents per pen. Sometimes I'll hand them out at work when office supplies are low. On the negative side - the ink dries out before I finish half the box and these pens are made in Mexico! I wish there was a made date on the box to aid in determining the shelf life. These pens are also available in the retractable style and cost a little bit more. Costco use to sell these pens in large bundles and cheap.

These pens have been my favorite for over 20 years!

my favorite pen for years, but...
Two things - the bar code on these is for the black ink and I needed/ordered blue ink, so had to return the box. very smooth return process, btw. I then was near a Staples so bought a pack of Medium point in purple, and was disappointed to find that the ink leaves a tiny bit of a "drip" in the lines as I write - a thicker line on occasion. I never noticed that in these before and have been using them for many years. From now on I will stick with Fine tip vs Medium.

Blue in a medium point with a barrel that can be unscrewed to insert pretty designer paper to coordinate with a handmade notebook folder using matching designer paper that holds mini legal pads. Great pens.

The only pens I use! Not sure why, but these accommodate my writing style better than any other. Clean, thin, and smooth, though not faint. I find most others are too thick for my writing, especially when writing fast, and really dislike pens that smudge.

I find my handwriting is a lot neater with these. Not sure why. The longer design of these pens makes it easier to find on a messy desk, and more comfortable to use.
