We pay for the subscription and it seems to work good, but one complaint is that there is no way to set off alarm via the phone app, so if you get notified of a motion event, and you want to set off alarm, you have to actually call Simply Safe to do it... Easy install. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great For Keeping An Eye on Indoor Spaces *by J***K on December 24, 2023* We use these cameras to monitor the basement at a house on Cape Cod for flooding/leaks when we're not there during the winter. I also have one in the garage as we store a car there. We have 3 in our home on the West Coast, to monitor basement/garage door, back door, and inside the front door of the house in case of breakins. With full monitoring of both systems, we feel very confident in the image quality, night vision, and motion detection of these cameras. One complaint: they seem to lose their WiFi connection kind of easily if they're in a weaker part of your network signal.
